Seven hours may seem a long time - but of course we will have breaks at cafés, food stalls or in a park, when it comes to more detailed explanations. We also stop whenever you'd like to take a photo.
You will get a very profound insight on 1000 years of history - from the very inception of this city till today. This city and this country have left their heavy imprint on Europe's history.
I don't do groups - just you and me, max. 6 people in case of a family or friends travelling together. I'd like to have a permanent dialogue with you. You can change the itinerary any time - there's so much to see here. So far, all my guests have been delighted about my walks.

This tour allowed me to have a better understanding of the historic events taking place in Prague during the period of construction and development of the various sites visited. Guenther is very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator.

We walked around Old Town and visited historic sites that are not normally visited by tourist. We learned about Chech history and the people who lived in this country.

I spent a lovely day in Prague with Gunther, a brilliant historian who brings a wealth of knowledge and insight into one of the most interesting and complex cities in all of Europe. I learned so much about the history, politics, architecture, culture of Prague and its inhabitants. Gunther knows the city backwards and forwards, and was able to craft a highly enjoyable walking experience that told the city's story in a coherent and accessible fashion. Most importantly, Gunther skillfully designed a route thay avoided the city's sizeable crowds - which is no easy feat. I highly recommend Gunther's Ultimate Prague History Tour, and look forward to working with Gunther again in the future and recommending him to my friends and colleagues.

We enjoyed the personal service. Gunter did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the Czech Republic. We saw so much in Prague! We definitely recommend Gunter. The primarily walking tour with some public transportation was at our own speed which was great.

Guenther was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Prague and its hidden spots. He was also very helpful when my wife's wallet was pickpocketed, liaising with the police and taking us to report to the embassy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague.

Guenther presented this city like we have never experienced before with a guide in any other city.... simply sensational. You quickly realize that for Guenther it is much more than just a job, it is his enthusiasm and joy , his incredible knowledge of history and architecture that make him so remarkable as a guide. And that is exactly what made these two days we spent with him so extraordinary. Not to mention the absolutely charming idea to make a tour through the best coffee houses in the city, which, in addition to architectural "wow effects", has always provided the necessary energy by means of Bohemian pastry specialties.
In any case, Guenther made sure that we have already planned our next visit to Prague.... and there is no doubt who we will have again as our guide.... Guenther!

The tour focused on early history from 12 to 18th century whereas I am more interested in 1900’s onwards Gunther is a gentleman and we spent a lovely day together, it was just not quite tailored towards my interests.
