Ilha Grande, the largest and best known island in the region, is one of the most sought after and coveted places by tourists who come to visit Rio de Janeiro.
With blue - green and crystalline waters, with its corals and a marine fauna full of species Ilha Grande becomes a perfect scenario for diving.

Amid so many options, the most popular beaches / islands are Lagoa Azul, Lagoa Verde, Praia Cataguazes, Praia de Freguesia de Santana and Praia de Japariz where you will stop for lunch.

Cais de Santa Luzia is a complex located in the center of Angra dos Reis, considered the most traditional point of departure for visitors to the islands and schooner tours. It faithfully represents a little of the history and tradition of the municipality, mainly because it joins the fishing culture with its fishermen and colorful boats, worthy of a photograph during a walk in the late afternoon with the unmistakable beauty of the sea in the background. Stop for lunch at a typical restaurant in the region, the restaurant has the advantage of passing the menu inside the boat so that customers can choose the meal and it will be served as soon as it reaches the beach. • During the peak tourist season in Rio de Janeiro, traffic is common due to its popularity. We started collecting in Leblon, went through several neighborhoods, ending with the last one in Lapa. Despite possible traffic challenges, our commitment to a smooth and enjoyable experience remains unwavering as we head to our final destination.

everything was 100% memorable. Elainne was so nice and humble with us. She is very professional. She picked up us on time and explained everything in three languages. The boat was fun and a unforgettable experience. The four beaches are incredible. Maybe the only disappointment was the food. It was a buffet but it was cold and not very enjoyable. The way back to the hotel was smooth and faster than I thought.

Fantastic day trip from Rio to Ilha Grande and Angra dos Reis! Even if It takes some hours by bus to reach the final destination, it really worth it! Crystal water, tons of fishes and fun on the boat! The agency was super professional, with great and efficient customer service! Recommended!

Good: the boat trip. Not too long or too short, just right for half a day with a bit of everything: swimming, visiting beach, visiting a little village and a little local restaurant.

Average: food was… ok-ish

Bad: we were in an Airbnb, so the company proposed the pick up in front of an hotel 50min before the time announced on TripAdvisor.
Then they were 30 min late.
Then we spent the following 2 hours picking tourists here and there.
And then finally over 2.30 of the actual trip to the place itself.
With the 2.30 back, we actually spend more time in waiting and bus than on the actual experience itself.

We spent more than an hour for the pick up of all the guests and the we had a 2.30h journey until the port. Our guide Flavia was very friendly and polite. We went then on the boat where we were merged with another group for a total of 120 person! It was difficult to find where to sit, difficult to snorkel all together, I really didn’t like it. The food at the buffet was awful. We arrived back in Rio at 9pm. Not recommended
