Honolulu has a rich history and the grounds of Iolani Palace have long been considered a sacred place. Built around 1879 - it was a place for royalty and site of a historic coup - the only coup of a sitting monarchy in American history. The last Queen of the land fought for a free Hawaii until her death and her spirit is said to still linger here looking over Honolulu...

This street intersection is known as Kaua’nona’ula – meaning rain with the red rainbow. While there is no historic events that happened here, the ghost sightings are plenty. Hear creepy stories of the unexplained encounters many a visitor has experienced.

Many creepy stories have been shared from the workers and customers of this old building. Rumors of a ghost in a white kimono haunting the location are so abundant that a news article was written about the tragedy that ensues after the host reveals herself to you. This Supreme Court opened in 1871 and saw many cases that came here as their last resort. Before these grounds sentenced murderers to their doom, it once held an orphanage. Rumor has it that if you sit under the banyan trees at the edge of the lot, you can hear the laughter of children playing. Many have also encountered the lost souls of the criminals sentenced to death in the early 1900s, making this haunted location and interesting mixture of spirits that linger here.

The first Christian Church built in Hawaii is one of the most historic and haunted sites. As the oldest cemetery in the state the gravestones often do not tell the full story of the buried... It is estimated that many more bodies lie beneath the surface than the 296 gravestones would suggest. Tourists have reported experiencing strange smells, hearing quiet whispers and seeing the ghost of a young boy who often wanders the cemetery. Hear the stories behind the hauntings!

Here you'll find two of the oldest homes in all of Hawaii, built by missionaries from New England to spread their protestant beliefs. Great tour! Loved learning the history. We even felt some of the spooky places with getting goose bumps and all.

This specific tour did not include a pub crawl. The "host" did not identify himself as being part of the tour he just started telling stories in front of the meeting statue. We stood for 20 minutes listening to his stories and didn't move until 21 minutes into this "tour". We walked a few blocks to a bank that was another place of "interest". We stood there for another 13 minutes and listened to a story. We walked back to the statue where the tour ended. I had purchased extra add on ghost monitoring devices that we did not receive, and I pre-tipped the "guide" for standing in place for almost the entire tour. I also pre paid for a plush ghost that I did not receive. I will NEVER book another tour through TripAdvisor. After I wrote them about my experience, they refused to refund me without an explanation.

Our tour guide did not show up, there was a group of 10 people waiting. No one was answering the phone either. No way to get a refund because of that.

This was a great experience.
Jamie is an excellent guide.
She tells all the stories so well she really makes you believe. She also has a great historical knowledge. So you will not only feel spooked and entertained. You will also learn some Hawaiian history.
A big recommendation.

I always try to take in a ghost tour or historical tour in each city I visit. Our tour guide was awesome. He was very personable and the stories were spooky!

Hope was the best. She shared her experiences as well as those of others. We weren’t sure what we would experience, but I gotta say it was very informative. We learned so much about haunted history of Honolulu

The stories all have grounded incidents to point to. There are only one or two story-telling flairs that I couldn’t find reference to. In an entire 1.25 hour tour, the hats amazing!

The Tour Gide did not really know what he was talking about.
we did not enter any buildings to see any activity’s.
not what we expected at all
we had to ditch the tour because it was so boring (we ditched we did not disappear)
this was a total waste of money and time.
