This exciting new tour by Art Historian Jan Kepinski takes you through the Flemish collection of the Künsthistroischesmuseum (Art Historical Museum in Vienna). It focuses on the fantastic works of Pieter Bruegel, one of the most celebrated and innovative painters of the 16th century. The Bruegel collection is the largest in the world comprising a third of all Bruegel paintings.

Your guide Jan is an Art Historian, a professional state-licensed "Austria Guide", and a Master storyteller. The experience is perfectly suited for both newcomers, who are looking for an introduction to Art History, and Bruegel enthusiasts.

The experience will give you an insightful understanding of the context and history of the Flemish renaissance as well as Bruegel's unique contribution to the world of Art History. All this with the beautiful backdrop of one of the top museums in the world.

Walking, talking while experiencing a new place is one of my favourite things. This tour (and the Story of an Empire walking tour) were beyond all my expectations. Our guide, Jan was personable, professional and a fantastic story teller. I would highly recommend this tour. In fact, I can’t wait to go back to do it again!
