Make your way along the beach and watch the sun and moon alternate and then we have a chance for a dip in the ocean with one of the horses who is not afraid to get wet, so don’t forget your bathing suit!
You will ride along a gravel path through the jungle to the beach and then along the beach with the waves touching the horses’ feet. After a photo session stop with the turquoise ocean in the back ground the ride goes on to a bar in Bergantin beach for a break and possibility to buy souvenirs (or other drinks than included in the tour).
If the ocean and streams are applicable you will be offered to swim with a horse which is a great experience. Keep in mind, although, that sometimes this is not possible due to strong waves and streams. We always keep Safety First!
Sunset tour start pick-up at 3 pm (ex Bachata. Pick-up time in Playa Dorada appr 3:45 pm)
• Riding starts 4 pm
• 1st riding away approximately 1 hour
• Break 30-40 minutes
• 2nd riding back approximately 30 minutes

True five star experience. Johnny and Raymond did an excellent job guiding us through the whole experience, and paparazzi Kilvio was on point with the photos. Even the pick up and drop off was top tier, which was led by Juan. The owner was communicative and very easy to coordinate with before and after the excursion.

Amazing trip! The pick up was a bit confusing but basically wait in the long till you see someone with the ranch shirt.
Other than that everything was perfect! Staff was friendly, horses were well behaved and trained. I’ll definitely do it again.
Be sure to take cash if you want to buy the pictures at the end (I edited mine but they are still good without)

Alexis and Romano were the best tour instructors, they spoke english well. The horses were well trained and the whole entire ride was beautiful! 100% worth it ! this excursion is a MUST do in Puerto Plata. The only downfall to my portion of it was me trying to find a ride to the ranch from Cabarete for a reasonable price. They did not have a close pick up location or transportation from where i was at other than that no complaints!!

The staff was amazing. Very attentive and the horses were so laid back and easy going. The view was breathtaking. Truly unforgettable.

It was a amazing little Tour. The guys, especially "crazy Alex" were all very friendly and could speak english well. it was my first riding on a horse and i had no problems. it was defenetly one of my highlights at my vacation.

There were 6 of us on the excursion. The ride to the beach was nice. The beach was nice but lots of trash. Sad to see the beautiful beaches cluttered like that. We didn't get to ride in the ocean with our horses. Pictures are showing that you do but our group didn't therefore I can't give this a 5 star review.. The guides were great and very patient with the riders that were inexperienced.

This was such an amazing experience, it was the favorite part of my vacation. As a solo traveler, it was great to be picked up and dropped off at the resort where I stayed. Sylvie and her guides are so friendly and helpful. The horses are well-trained and I felt secure the whole time. The scenery was so beautiful. It was easy and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this excursion and I will definitely do it again next time I'm in D.R.
