Life jackets were provided but basic safety prompts such as keeping your hands inside the boat were not. A mother of two kids had her fingers broken when she wasn’t paying attention to where they were placed as we prepared to set out. Staff took some time to realise what had happened and to offer support.
Take your sunscreen from home as it is ridiculously expensive on Nusa Dua. You are mostly undercover anyway. The snorkelling was enjoyable and the staff were helpful, polite and caring.
Sadly, there’s quite a lot of rubbish in the ocean and an unbelievable number of people and boats at some of the 5 scheduled sites.
The driver tour afterward is perfectly pleasant except for the incredibly rutted limestone roads - no good if you get travel sick or have a bad back. Beautiful sights but VERY touristy. The lunch stop was adequate.
