The Anime Studio Experience with Japan Awaits is a 3-hour small group join-in experience where guests will visit a local Anime Studio in Tokyo to learn about how anime are created, attend a short workshop to learn how to draw anime and manga characters, then visit the Anime Museum to learn about the history of anime.

We had an incredible time learning about the history and culture of anime as well as flexing our voice acting muscles recording dubbed versions of anime clips. We also had a blast learning how to draw from an animation expert….and finally or guide was amazing. Seiko is the best!

Stepping into the Anime School and Anime Museum were like entering a whole new world! Seeing the artists at work and learning about the animation process was eye-opening. The highlight was getting to try our hand at drawing our own characters at the workshop - I didn't know I had it in me! An absolute must for any anime fan.

As an anime fan, this tour was everything I could have hoped for and more. We kicked off the tour with a round look of the anime museum. It was a true deep dive into the art and history of animation, with so many captivating displays. The grand finale was a stop at the gift shop, where I couldn't resist picking up a few figures to add to my collection. The entire experience was fantastic, and the souvenirs serve as a wonderful reminder of a perfect day.

This tour is clearly designed with the anime enthusiast in mind. We started with a round trip through the anime museum and anime studio, which provided a deep dive into the colorful world of animation. We visited the Suginami anime museum and a studio and learned some of the basics of drawing Manga characters. The tour guide was very motivated and explained everything to us. Very good tour for Anime and Manga fans. Wish it was longer.
