We booked the sunset lighthouse experience and everything was lovely. It was so worth it. Chaz, the grounds keeper, greeted us and showed us to a table for 8 beautifully set with a charcuterie board and 2 bottles of Prosseco. We toasted to our friends who were just married and then climbed the 80 steps to the top to watch the sunset. It was an amazing evening.

This is right across from Hemingway museum and is worth the time to get some great views from the lighthouse. It is a climb to get to the top on some narrow spiral stairs but once you get to the top you get to see almost all of the island. It also has some markers up there pointing out the locations you can see.
Overall it was worth it for the views plus you get to walk through the cottage that the lighthouse keepers used.

We visited Key West Light House after touring Hemingway's house. The lighthouse is wonderfully maintained, and the view from the top is worth the climb up the 88 steps (not as bad as it sounds). And you can learn some interesting facts...such as why it isn't on the coast (but I will let you learn that from your visit! :) ) .

Was a bit deceiving. Thought it was a guide tour thru the 4 museums not self guided. But it was ok once we figured that part out. Near to be clearer.

We hopped off the trolley and climbed the 88 steps to the top. Fee includes the inside of the lighthouse keepers house as well. The view was really nice at the top. Winding spiral staircase. Not crowded so not an issue going up or down. If you have the time, take a climb to the top. Worth the stop. The keepers quarters interesting as well.

Glad we did it and recommend it, especially the light keeper's cottage. Learned a lot about the history of Key West. Great views of the island too.

If you're able bodied, it's a great worthwhile tour, if you're on a wheelchair or scooter... they should give you 50% off because you don't get access to everything everyone else goes. It's a little disappointing across the board because you're not allowed to take photos to show your mobility challenged friend... they should at least have a film room for the rest of the tour for ADA ppl. You get stuck with apologies that the evaluators aren't working... with an aging population who can afford KW... access should be a concern at this point.

The locations provided great information about the history of the area. The Tennessee Williams staff went above and beyond to share the history of the area! It was nice to see the works of local artists and visiting displays. The Robert will give you chills!
