Our tour is a unique way to see the local Venice away from all the crowds. We explore areas that provide both a historical and modern perspective about Venice. Every Venice Kayak tour starts from our base in Cannaregio. Your guide will brief you on the route and safety procedures. Then, guests will be led to the gear where we have sun hats, dry bags, life vests, gloves and wet suits to help make your kayaking more comfortable. Once we are suited up you will be led to the kayaks where your professionally certified guide will give you a few lessons on kayaking properly through Venice. Once the guide sees you are set, it is time to go inside Venice to explore some truly hidden places. Throughout the tour your guide will take pictures so that you can remember the experience forever.

I took a kayak trip at 5.00pm. And it was amazing. Despite not being in a kayak for a long time, the instructor reassured me and went through all the safety and tips I needed to to know.
We went out on the canels and it was incredible seeing the views of Venice from a water based perspective.
The instructor was really friendly, happy and knowledgeable and I learned alot about Venice and was asking alot of questions.
We saw a bit of the lagoon and it was amazing.
Kudos to the instructor who was professional, patient and friendly. As a result, I'm left with fond memories.

We enjoyed our tour. Our guide was very organized and safety oriented. His English was excellent. The company had nice clean, kayak specific vests with a front phone pocket. Paddles were all in good condition. All except one of us had excellent, high quality seating. One of the better seats I’ve had for a rental kayak. Not sure why one Kayak didn’t have the newer seat. He ended up having back issues, so his experience was not the greatest, but the rest of us really enjoyed it!
Lots more boat traffic in the back canals, so I don’t recommend this for someone with minimal paddling experience

Samir was a wonderful guide. He told us all about the history of Venice and the architecture we passed by. Seeing the city the way was an incredible, unique experience, and I highly recommend it!!

We searched for the meeting place for over an hour. Asked six different store owners about the business and address and no one had heard of Venice Kayaks.
We finally found the address down a dark, dingy alley about twenty minutes before our trip and found nothing more than a small doorbell plate labeled Venice Kayaks, no signs, no kayaks anywhere to be found!
We rang the doorbell repeatedly and no one answered, so we left.
The “business “ owner called us a little after five looking for but we had left the area. Run away!!!!!!!!

This was the best part of my trip would recommend to everyone travelling to Venice as a different way of seeing the city!
It is an experience I will never forget and wish I could do it all over again.

We've just returned from Venice (May) and the kayak tour was a really great and different experience. In a small group and with sporty fellow rowers, our guide dared to take us into the open lagoon and it splashed a bit...
When it comes to clothing, you should therefore think about what might or might not get wet. We don't live far away, but a change of trousers might be advisable for later tours.
What deserves a particularly positive mention is the communication beforehand and the clarification of a disagreement. Professional, customer-oriented and absolutely trustworthy provider.

This was a fantastic way to really experience the Venice canal. You might get wet so plan accordingly. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an absolutely amazing experience and such an incredible way to experience Venice. Shamir was an amazing guide and took me through the canals while explaining the history and sights we were seeing. I asked a million questions but he was able to answer them all and more! He tailored our tour to my interests and kayaking experience, making decisions on the fly. While I am an experienced kayaker, the idea of navigating the canals with other boats, some motorized in a completely new environment unnerved me at the start. But Shamir carefully explained the rules of the “road” and guided me calmly through every type of situation. Any hiccups turned out to be nothing as the other boat drivers were incredibly understanding and used to the slow pace of life on the canals. And Shamir stayed calm and steady through it all. 1000/10 experience. One I will not soon forget and could not recommend more!
