The Ginga Tropical concert, a dance and music spectacle, is a journey trough Brazil.  It is a dynamic and interactive concert has been running for TEN years already. To start with there is a samba class, after all we start our journey in Rio de Janeiro, land os carnival, soccer es and open arms to travelers.

Upon the starting bell, strumming of the drums and the opening of the curtains, our first stop is North of the country, Amazonia, and we don’t stop till we arrive to the typical Pampas Gaucho. Amazement at the richness, diversity and ingenuity of Brazilian culture is guaranteed.

The aim is that each one in the audience leave the theater wishing to explore the “Bull of Parintins”, the “Frevo” from Pernambuco, the color explotion of Pará and its “Carimbo”, or  maybe , decide to take “Xaxado dance” class while in the country.

So, how is it gonna be? How about a fun and thrilling trip with a little overdose of Brazilianess?

If you are looking to experience some culture in Brasíl then I recommend going to the samba. The 15 min of samba class is a great way to get the audience engaged

This was one of the best shows in town. The hour and a half of dancing and music was espectacular. The acrobatics, singer and band presented the best cultural music from Brasil. I was lucky to meet the producer and staff downtown Rio on Friday night. I recommend this show before leaving Rio. I was here from Orlando Florida. It is the money’s worth.

Initial audience engagement was very good, parabéns pra Natália.

The wide range of cultures and dances in Brazil was well represented which was a nice surprise, the show was much more than just Samba.

Many stand out performances including capoeira acrobatics and the “boneca desengonçada “.

Well done. Francisco

People talk.. go see it for yourself. My family and I thought it was a great show and with live music it was well worth it. Location is strange because it's in a second floor of a mall. But show was Awesome!

A great show with wonderful dancing. The pre- show samba class was fun and not difficult so everyone could participate, including me with mobility issues. I only wish the show had started earlier. Getting out at 11 pm and having to wait for an Uber meant I got back to hotel at almost midnight.
Midnight.

Good show only wish they focused more on certain dances and included some of the newer dances being down in Brazil.

In a small theater (perhaps 10 x 5), always with the same scene of the orchestra behind, and less than 10 dancers, even very good ones, you cannot perform the Brazilian samba. The Capoeira dancers and percussionists were also excellent. Then, the rest of the folklore would be local and popular dances - only with odication of the place of Brazil and without any explanation - which are almost the same as those you can see anywhere in Europe.

Worst show what I saw ever. Low budget, poor professionalsm, fake band, bad story line, low number of actor/dancer…
It will hit you in a bad way. You will freeze in the first 20 mins by the shock of the unprofessionalsm. After you will get angry to yourself, about the money you spent to that thing.
At the first 30 mins, nothing happens just you need to move with a guy, who is there to create some athmosphere. It was long and strange.. then we left the real show after 20 mins. Horrible.
When I was claiming back the price of the ticket, they almost laught at me.
