Really enjoyed our kayaking trip at Rockingham with Capricorn. We were given good instructions by the guides who helped us get out onto the water and supervised us well through the trip.
First we headed to Seal Island where we could see seals on the island and one in the distance in the water - sadly for us, the water was murky as a storm was coming and so the sea lions were staying near the shore and not swimming up to the kayaks like in the promotional photos!
Then we kayaked over to Penguin Island in search of little penguins. Again, slight disappointment, as it turns out at this time of year the penguins are not on the island during the day. On the plus side, there were large pelican colonies on the islands and so we could observe them quite closely.
The guides provided a lovely picnic lunch of wraps with hummus, meats, cheese and veggies, before we explored the island on foot. Viewed caves, petrified trees on the beach and bird colonies before stopping on the beach for half an hour for a snorkel/swim for those who wanted one.

This was an amazing experience. My partner and I booked this as an anniversary trip adventure and had a fantastic time. Jimmy is a great guide, really knows his stuff and very friendly and helpful. The islands are beautiful and it is great to see the wildlife up close.

Sadly we didn’t spend much time to see the sea lions. The tour guide was very helpful and friendly, but when I compare the kayak tour with others I have done, it was not as good. It is a very sustainable activity, this is what I like.

We loved it. The kayaking needs confidence - but they teach you all about it and make sure you’re safe,
They give you everything you need and more - life jackets, hats, rash vests, jumpers, dry bags - they even pack lunch for you and fresh water!!!
You need to take your flip flops to walk around penguin island it can be hard on your feet otherwise.
Such a happy day - would do it again.

The trip is just amazing and get in touch with nature! Although due to weather restrictions, we are not able to kayak to seal island, but we manage to see dolphin just swim by in front our kayak, what a surprise!
Jimmy was very nice and guide us through from the start of how to use the kayak and keep update us on the history or story behind those beautiful island. The picnic lunch he prepared is unforgettable! Superb tasty. XD
Just book this tour if you are looking for some sport yet chill activity!

This was by far one of the best experiences of our life! Jimmy, our guide, was amazing. We were super lucky and had the chance to meet sea birds, sea lions and dolphins REALLY close to our kayak!
We will never forget this feeling.
Definitely recommend!

Amazing day! Beautiful islands and lovely guide, what's not to like? I was of course a bit disappointed to not meet a penguin...but the sea lions and eagle still made my day 🤍

We went on a kayak and snorkeling tour with Bill (I think that was his name, sorry if I got that wrong). The tour itself was amazing seeing so many awesome sights that I wouldn’t have gotten to without the tour. Our tour guide Bill was the icing on the cake. He was so informative about the area and willing to go above and beyond to teach us as well as answer our questions that it made the trip all the more amazing. To top it off he ended up becoming a friend in the few hours we had together and even drive us to the train station after words. In all the experience was all it advertised and Bill made us feel at home. I would book another trip with Capricorn anytime.
