I have been living on the island for a total of 25 years. I am a NAI Certified Guide with over 500 tours on Maui. I give a honest version of Hawaiian events both past and present. I try to treat my guests like my friends and have maintained contact with many of my guests. I have been studying photography and will be taking tons of photos of you through the day. I will give you all of these photos at the end of the day. I will also make a short video of your adventure at no extra charge. I try to give an experience that makes you feel like you are with a friend. The afternoon tour tends to have fewer crowds. We are in a rainforest, so where we go will depend on the weather. Our tour guide Erik was very informative about Maui history and kindly took pictures of us at all four stops BUT, WE NEVER STOPPED AT ANY WATERFALLS! When we realized we were returning to the starting point and asked about the waterfall stops our guide told us he didn’t realize we wanted to stop at any falls! On the Magical Waterfall tour!

Erik did a great job accommodating our group with ages ranges from 9-90. He was very knowledgeable of the culture and history of the areas he showed us. He went over an above to make sure everyone was comfortable and got to see exactly what we wanted. I can't recommend Erik and Maui Hopping enough.

Awesome tour! Our family of six had a great time, saw waterfalls, hiked the arboretum, swan in waterfalls, ate apple bananas, and ate the world famous banana bread! Tour guide did a wonderful job educating and entertaining us. When back in Maui we will look him up again!

Had a wonderful time! Saw sea turtles! There were 6 of us in our own vehicle with Erik. He was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us informed and entertained throughout the tour. He stopped for apple bananas which were a treat and then for some warm banana bread that was amazing! We saw amazing scenery on the half way to Hana tour. He took lots of pictures for us and airdropped them to us. We loved the whole tour and highly recommend Maui Hoppin.

Had an amazing day with our tour guide, Erik! He was very informative, friendly and fun. The road to Hana is definitely not somewhere to go unescorted/solo so having a seasoned local provide the ride was amazing. Highly recommend this tour for those wanting to get in a little hiking and adventure! You will leave with beautiful pictures and even better memories.

Our tour guide was very personable and knew the history and customs of the island very well. He stopped at very scenic sites and knew the perfect spots for photo ops.

My daughter and I had limited time in Maui and I wanted us to experience four events: walk in an Hawaiian rainforest with rainbow eucalyptus trees; spend time listening to a lush waterfall, see the infamous Green sea turtles, and stand on a lava rock beach. Erik made sure we hit them all and we never felt rushed. We couldn't have accomplished all these memories without him. In addition, he took lots of great pictures of my daughter and I capturing our mother-daughter time. He is a family man so he respected how special this vacation/family visit was to us.
Erik was friendly, informative, and a great host while ensuring our safety and comfort!!!! We had the best time!
P.s. Sandy's banana bread is amazingly! Thanks for the treat, Erik.

Thank you to Erik for an amazing tour. The four hour tour was the perfect amount of time for my husband and me. Erik is very knowledgeable about the area and made sure we were comfortable during the tour. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience and even provided delicious banana bread and photos at no extra charge. At the end of the tour, he took the time to make sure we were at the best location for an Uber pick up and gave us great local recommendations. Thanks again Erik!
