The actual walk was only ok. The second part- the acropolis and the museum were excellent. The history and stories - actually mythology behind the sites is fascinating and our second guide was well versed.

Awesome full day walking tour of Athens highlights! The Viator description doesn’t fairly represent all the different sites (gardens, Olympic stadium, hadrians arch just to name a few) that are visited before the Acropolis and museum. Guide Olysia was just the best. Close to 6 hours including quick lunch break and we walked more than five miles in all. Definitely worth the money!

At the Acropolis, our guide did a wonderful job of not only explaining historical and architectural aspects of the Acropolis and Parthenon but, because it was a very hot day and there were many steps to climb, she arranged her tour so that we would take a flight or 2 of steps and then step aside to rest a short bit and stand in the shade before proceeding to the next level. This was much appreciated by all the participants.

Yohannes was excellent. Very knowledgeable and was thoughtful about giving us the best experience. The city is a treasure and filled with history that Yohannes introduced us to. Highly recommend a tour with him.

Our guide, Cici, (might be the wrong spelling) was great. Super knowledgeable. Also we were stuck in traffic getting to our meeting place and then got turned around but the guides found us.

I highly recommend this walking city tour for people who like to learn about the history of a new city. It is a very long tour, especially when it is hot in Athens, but it is well worth the info that you learn from your guide! Our guide Giannis, an archaeologist, was a fountain of knowledge, and tried to pace the tour to accommodate each member's needs. We were also provided with ear pieces that made it easy to hear our guide throughout the tour. If you like learning, this tour is definitely for you!
