After unexpectedly being in town last minute with no tour plans, we were happy someone answered our call and described all the different tours to us, making a recommendation based on what would be best for the different age groups and fitness levels we were with. We ultimately did the Tom's Thumb trip and our guide, Jay, made the excursion so much more fun than if we had done a self-guided tour, pointing out flora and fauna and explaining the area's history. He was extremely patient with the older and slower of our bunch, lending walking sticks, providing a hand when needed, and not minding going over our time so we could take it slow and careful.

Awesome hike! Henry was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out sites we may not have seen on our own…and he was a lot of fun! An awesome morning hike and would recommended Mad Desert Trekking and Henry highly!

Great experience! Beautiful trail and views can’t beat it. Our guide Liz was fantastic. She was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable and patient. Would definitely recommend the hike and Liz as your guide.
