This is a great option to visit the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, enjoying the unique landscapes of the wetlands in the quieter part of the lagoons that are less frequented by the groups of tourists heading down to Punta Allen. An intimate visit to the saltwater lagoons, coral reef and mangrove forests of the Biosphere.

Pablo was a great guide - and our boat driver was incredible at spotting wildlife from afar. We got to see manatees despite the water being super brown and murky due to all the rain that the area has experienced the day before. Due to the rain, we weren't able to do the snorkeling portion so the tour itself was a bit repetitive in nature, but our party wasn't as bothered by it since Pablo was such an entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide. Lunch by the cenote in the hotel zone was also a nice surprise and end to the tour. Be sure to bring a little extra cash to tip the boat driver as we didn't end up doing this, and i wish i had.

The trip was fantastic! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and our guides Lea and Macarena were excellent. We came for the beach fun of course but this trip was a great adventure and helped bring the area to-life.

Our tour was amazing. The mangroves were beautiful, the lagoons and canals were incredible. We had a great time floating down the canals while learning about the ecosystems and the Mayan culture. The food was great local fare. I highly recommend this experience, supporting this wonderful land and local culture.

This was our second tour with Mexico Kan this week, the first was to Chichen Itza and it was such a good experience (both with the company and the tour itself) we decided to do another tour with them. Driving in Tulum is an extreme sport so we were relieved to see that our driver again was Gualberto. He is an excellent and safe driver.
Our guide for this tour was Alondra. I cannot say enough great things about her, she was fun, informative, very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and clearly very excited to share that knowledge with us. I know the guides and boat captains have no control over this but we were fortunate enough to see a ton of animals on this tour including a mom and baby manatee right off the bow of the boat, crocodiles large and small, a ton of fish on the reef snorkling, and many different bird species. Lucky or not it was a really great tour!

We had a great time with Mexico Kan Tours. We were picked up at our resort which we appreciated because it was a long drive to Tulum. We were lucky enough to have good weather for snorkeling. Lea was our guide and she was awesome, she gave a multi-lingual tour in English, German, and Spanish and helped us identify birds and fish. We also saw manatees and crocodiles. Lunch and snacks were yummy and homemade. They also had plenty of drinking water. Be warned that the campground we stopped at for bathrooms/lunch does not have running water and is quite rustic. We really enjoyed this tour.

Thank you to Thomas and Nicholas for a very relaxing boat tour. We saw lots of animals including manatees, birds and a crocodile. The beach stop was beautiful and lunch super yummy!

We saw so many different animals, thanks to our guides! Very well organized and the food was delicious!
Lea was our guide and she looked after us very well! We learned a lot about the park.
We would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

Pablo was a great guide. We were traveling with our son and his family, teenagers that are 14 and 16. The lagoon was memorable.... very peaceful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tulum

This tour is not to be missed!! My friend and I had the best day of our vacation with Lea, Jessica and driver, Axel. Manatee, dolphins, sea turtles, countless birds, amazing lunch, and the color of the water is unreal!
