Espiritu Santo Island is an incredible paradise that you will never forget!
The experience of swimming with sea lions is very nice, they are playful and they usually come close to interact with the swimmers.
(During the months of June, July, and August, swimming with sea lions in their rookery is not allowed, so we just see them from the boat and snorkel and/or hike at another site of the island)
We always try to take our clients to the beaches where there are less people, so that they get a unique experience with the feeling of adventure that we like so much.
Finally, learning about the history of the ancient settlers, the fauna and flora of the area, the current lifestyle of the locals, and being accompanied by marine biologist guides will make your day a very enriching one.
It can only be visited on boats with permits and certified guides.

Beautiful day spent on the water with excellent tour guides, Arturo and Alonso, and Capitán Chaco! We were able to swim with sea lions, just not in the typical spot as they are reproducing. Snorkeled over some beautiful reefs and saw giant snapper! Would love to come back in October with the same crew when conditions for diving and snorkeling are ideal.

Seeing the sea lions was incredible. What made the day really special was our guide Mateo was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and the geology and the history of the area. Learning about what makes the area so unique from a trained scientist made the day really special. Our captain kept everyone safe and the ceviche on the beach was unforgettably delicious!

Had a wonderful day. The devil rays were jumping, the sea lions and their newborns pups were amazing to watch, saw a whale, sea turtle and tons of frigate birds. We snorkeled and saw a bunch of fish and corals. We enjoyed a yummy ceviche lunch on a beautiful white beach. The crew was exceptionally knowledgeable about the marine life in both English and Spanish. I would highly recommend you book this trip.

Snorkeling was amazing with Mateo and Cristian! Mateo was super informative about all things sea, as well as the environment.
We went to the sea lion colony and saw 100s of them as well as baby sea lions. Then we went to a different location and snorkeled and saw so many different types of fish!!! We had lunch on a beach, ate 3 different types of ceviche, all delicious and fresh. The water was warm, crystal clear and it was so beautiful.
Highly recommend, 10/10.

Excellent day, we got to see many things on the trip to espiritu santo Island. Guides were perfect, to end the day we were able to spot a huge group of manta rays jumping from the water, made my first trip to Mexico fantastic. I also dont know how to swim but it didn't stop me from going with my partner, there were so many other things to do and shallow areas to enjoy !

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. En route to Espiritu santo we stopped to snorkel with a group of 500 plus mobula rays. They were swimming very close together at a depth of 20 feet. What a thrill. Then we went to the area where several hundred sea lions aggregate. Despite the fact that June through August is mating season so you are not allowed to snorkel there, the experience of watching the sea lions from the boat was fascinating. We then entered a cave with the boat and it was on to an absolutely gorgeous beach for lunch. On the ride back home we stopped at a former oyster farming area and saw hundreds of frigate birds sitting on their nests. Finally we stopped the boat to view beautiful Balandra beach. We saw lots of mobula rays jumping in the air throughout the day which ended with a small pod of dolphins swimming near the boat. Alex was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and Christian was an excellent boat captain. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide pointed out really interesting tidbits along the way, and we saw blue whales, humpback whales, bottle nosed dolphins, manta rays and sea lions (including newborn pups!). The ceviche lunch was yummy too, and I appreciated that they set up a shade tent since it was a scorching hot day.
