Our guide, Alice, was great. Unknown to us at the time of booking, our tour was the morning of the Tour de France departure. She managed to maneuver closed streets and massive crowds to keep our tour on track and moving. Very informative as well.

Our guide was very good at getting us to each place on the tour in a timely manner. She was also very knowledgeable and very interested in the subject matter.

I really liked our guide quite a lot. He was very knowledgeable and animated. He tried to keep us in the shad for the two hours of outdoor walking the first part of the tour required. Alas, we were pretty stinkin’ hot by the time we made it to the Gallerie Accademica to see the David. Which was worth getting to see.

We got a great tour guide who really got better as the tour went along. Only surprising thing is that we did not go inside the Duomo, so if that is a big “to-do” for you, make sure you have a plan to book your ticket for that separately and well in advance. By the time we realized we weren’t going inside, waiting in the line or the chance to climb to the top were just not in the cards. Seeing the David in person is an amazing experience, but don’t forget it is in the same museum as one of the only remaining strataverious violins. See it all while you can!

This is a great tour for 1st timers in Florence. You get a taste of the major sites and you can then explore them further if you wish.
Definitely recommended!

We had a great guide. This tour was a little pricey for what you got and the "skip the line" part isn't worked out ahead of time, so we spent more time than expected waiting. It wasn't in line, but it was waiting all the same. In the end though, this is a great way to get the inside scoop on Florence. I'd recommend this if you have an afternoon or morning and a discount code.

This tour was phenomenal!!! We had limited time in Florence and opted for a private version of this tour to maximize. Our guide, Giada, was absolutely incredible & showed us all the highlights plus so many other fascinating highlights that we never would have seen on our own. She brought the Medici eras to life, explained the sinister meaning behind some gorgeous sculptures, brought the David sculpture to life, and shared so many interesting historic facts in a way that was easy to understand and fascinating. We loved it and our teenage kids loved it as well!

Very informative and delightful guide (Alissia?), was able to easily alter our tour as we had already been to the Museo dell’Academia. Showed us some of the obvious sights but actually focused on some less well known things that was just perfect for us. Spent a good bit of time on the south side of the Arno looking at the neighborhoods where various artisans are still active. While we didn’t go in the places that required separate admissions, our guide made recommendations as to which of them were most worthwhile. She mixed in just enough history and context to make the places we saw come alive without going on so long that it got to be too much.

This experience was well worth it! Our guide Laura was a fountain of knowledge of Florentine history and her pace was easy to follow. Best of all, we saw the David sculpture with the full understanding of the masterpiece. Truly enjoyable!
