Kamakura is the former capital of Japan, located in the southeastern part of the Kanagawa prefecture, approximately 70 minutes away from Tokyo.
The Shogun Minamoto-no-Yoritomo established his military government in 1192 and the city prospered for more than 150 years after that. It is now a very peaceful city, but its rich history resulted in a legacy of marvelously well preserved temples and shrines. Kamakura city’s lovely atmosphere makes it one of our most popular one-day tours.

My tour guide was amazing! This person was absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. He super friendly and understanding, making sure to cater to all of my needs and spoke great English, I was very impressed! Not only that, but he was incredibly patient with me and all of my requests, He even went out of the way to find a vegan meal, and even tried it with me! How thoughtful is that? I can't recommend this tour enough. It was an absolute delight!

Nice driver who is also a guide. Found parking nearby and walked back via the local shopping street. Found a quiet restaurant

Riley was our driver for a short tour of Kamakura. However, since we did not have an official guide, she took on that role and was delightful! We enjoyed our time with her so much!
