If you want to return home with a deeper understanding of the Dominican Republic, read on because our exclusive cultural tour is a crash course in Dominican culture.
It all starts with the pick-up at your hotel, then we move to the World Souvenir Mart, where you can make your desired purchases.
Then we go to a cocoa and coffee plantation where a local family will be showing what it is like to live in the Dominican countryside.
From there we go to a local cigar factory, there you will be able to see how we make the best cigars and you will have the opportunity to roll your own cigars.
Then we go to the city of Higuey, there we can see the local market, the San Dionisio church, and the central park of Higuey.
Then we go to the Basilica Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, there you can delight in the beauty of the architecture of the Church.
Then on the way to the hotel we will show you the large sugar cane plantations.

The team was extra responsive, friendly and accommodating. Our guide Nathan was very knowledgeable and fun to be around with! They made sure all our needs and expectations are met.
We took a cultural tour as a family of four. The ranch was definitely the highlight of the trip.
Highly recommend having the tour with them when in Punta Cana! They are the best!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
Nathan, our driver was very fabulous, his singing skills and knowledge of the area was highly valued. Also enjoyed the Spanish-English translation of exchanges. Felt like we were out with family visiting family. Great tour to the cigar factory and family farm for cacao and coffee, mangoes as a bonus.

Be mindful of the guide at the church, a fee is required.

Otherwise one of the best cultural tours I e had in a long time.
Thanks Nathan!

We booked a private half day tour in Punta Cana and it was awesome. Edwin gave us a list of activities to customize our experience. He showed us a different side away from the Resort. Edwin really went into detail and explained things to us. We went to a typical house and we got to see how they make coffee, chocolate, and other things. We went to the Temple and took the perfect picture like I wanted to mimic before we went. Edwin even got us some cold water along the way. He also took us to a souvenir shop and when we did not like the prices, he even took us to another shop that was more to our liking. Please book this tour and you will enjoy it.

Our tour guide, Edwin, was terrific. Although we were the only ones booked for that day, he did not cancel our reservations, like some companies, but gave us a private tour experience. He explained in detail the history of the DR and showed us places that gave us the insight about the daily life of the community here. It was an amazing experience...

We were staying at a very lovely all inclusive resort and decided we wanted to see the real D.R. It was a great way to see beyond the resort. We really enjoyed seeing a typical house and how cigars are made as well as coffee and cocoa. They let us try rolling a cigar which was a nice experience. Edwin was most accommodating.

Tina was a very friendly and flexible guide. Since it was a private tour we were able to tailor the tour to our group, which was wonderful. We enjoyed the market. The coffee and cocoa plantation tour was very interesting and informative and we really enjoyed seeing a real Dominican house to give us a feel for the way of life there. The cathedral was amazing and the highlight of our tour.

This company also provided our airport transfers, and they were amazing. They were very prompt and very reasonably priced. They helped us with all of our luggage and even stopped at a super market on our way from the airport to our condo (it was their suggestion)n and waited while we picked up some groceries. They were very informative on the drive. It was private transportation, so it was only our group of 2 when we arrived and our group of 4 when we departed. Their vans were roomy and comfortable. Highly recommend!
