Convenient trip to see the highlights of Seoul. Wish we could have explored some of the palaces longer but that’s the nature of group tours. The ginseng shopping was optional and we sat out the tour waiting in the bus while others got the sales pitch. Again another necessary aspect of these group tours to subsidize the cost so it was nice that we were able to completely sit it out and not even enter the store for the sales pitch.
It was hard to hear our tour guide at times. She was a bit soft spoken which made it difficult and n the busy areas where their are so many other (louder) guides shouting 5 feet away.

The tour is very concise, you’re given some time to wander off on your own after the guide gives you some description about the area. Mr Young gave a lot of historical information about the 2 palaces we visited with such knowledge and passion that you could feel his pride and sadness at the same time. We were able to see a lot in a day. The tour is really good value considering you are seeing 5 spots in a few hours. Wasn’t impressed with ginseng store / museum, the lady kept going on and on and her speech was longer than our tour guide. I also felt they were quite pushy with the sales part. The elevator going up took a long time as well. Lunch is included with the tour but it wasn’t enough - good thing we went to 2 markets so we were able to buy extra food.
Overall I’m happy with the tour and would recommend it to anyone.

This tour was a great way to see some of the “must see” sights of Seoul. Honestly, there would have been no way we could have seen all these on our own given that the only time we could travel was in summer and my elderly parents were with me. We appreciated that there was hotel pick up and a limit of 15 passengers per group. Mr. Young shared Korean history in a very engaging way. His style made you want to listen to learn about the significance of each site. Lunch was delicious as well. There were three options: vegetarian (bibimbap), pork, and beef (bulgogi). Overall, Mr. Young did a great job. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Young Mi could not have worked harder to make my day memorable. She is so pleasant , funny and efficient.
I had read a review where one the palace visits was swapped for the Hanok village. This was the same on the tour I did. Why not just change the tour?
I was accompanied by a friend who is a Seoul resident. She enjoyed the day too!

Mr. Young was a great tour guide; he was fun , energetic, and full of great historical information. We learned a lot about South Korea on the tour as we traveled though out the city in an air conditioned van. The group was small (12 people) which was awesome because it allowed us a more intimate feeling and we we able to easily ask questions as we went along.
