Loved this tour. Giada and Loris were fabulous. Our party of 5 have a great time. Both Giada and Loris were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing, I would definitely recommend this tour. It's a must do.

Highly recommended and a Great way to learn about the city and the wonderful food and culture of Venice. Giada was our favorite tour guide from all the tours we did while visiting Europe. She has a great personality and made us feel welcomed as we walked through the city. The drinks and food were unique to the culture and something we would have never experienced had not been for our tour with Giada. Just do it ! You will be glad you did.

Giada was a terrific tour guide. She was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions (pescatarian without seafood) and built a flexible schedule based on the freshest foods she could find at the time. Highlights included some incredible cicchetti, a spritz or two, and of course the gelato! But besides the great food, Giada was very warm and personable and a pleasure to spend an evening with. Her knowledge of food and Venice in general, provided for a thoroughly enjoyable food tour.

I took two tours with Your Local in Venice - the street food tour with Loris and off the beaten path in Cannaregio with Giada. I had a great time on both of these tours - it was like experiencing Venice with a friend and I really appreciated the small foot print of being on a private experience and not following someone with a flag.
I learned so much about Venice through the eyes of people who live there and love it. Giada and Loris provided great recommendations for restaurants, bars and other places to visit in Venice.

Although we have visited Venice before we wanted a street food tour which would introduce us to the highlights of Venetian cuisine without being prey to all the tourist traps that exist in the city. Our trip with Loris certainly did that and we came away with excellent restaurant recommendations as well as an understanding of how to find good examples of the type. Loris has a relaxed easy manner, excellent English and a detailed knowledge of the history of the city. Our 3 hour tour sped by and we strongly recommend it to anyone looking to try the culinary delights of the area.

We had an amazing walking and food tour around Venice, with Loris answering our many questions along the way. He also gave us a number of his favorite recommendations for the rest of our trip and overall went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. My parents both said it was the highlight of their trip!

My wife and I booked a tour with Loris - we thought he looked friendly and being a sommelier would have a good palate to pick out the best places - and we were very glad that we did
We had a wonderful relaxing evening walking around the San Marco and San Polo areas visiting a variety of spots for delicious treats. In between, Loris showed us countless examples of little pieces of history - every stone of Venice has a story but you will walk right past most of them unless someone points them out to you
Loris checked our dietary requirements and preferences to select where he took us. We were happy to try a wide selection of the famous and authentic flavours of Venice and we enjoyed it all immensely - wonderful wines, delicious cicchetti and exceptional gelato. Loris shared stories of the origins of different drinks and foods, and tips on how to recognise good examples of them.
As well as what we enjoyed on the night, Loris gave us extraordinarily detailed recommendations for everything from the Michelin-starred restaurants in Venice and the lagoon, to where to find a Venetian style hot chocolate, to the best pizza, to where to find exceptional (and cheap!) croissants.
Loris is friendly and shares his meticulous knowledge in a lively and engaging way. He was also extremely helpful in organising another tour for us with his colleague Giada at very short notice
We would thoroughly recommend doing this tour, especially on your first day in the city - you will finish with enough places you want to try to last a month
