On our 4 Hour Kice Island Shelling Trip we depart from the Goodland Boat Park. Marco Island sits atop the 10,000 Islands. With so many amazing beaches just south of us, only accessible by boat, these islands are littered with amazing shells. Our expert captains and guides will teach you about each individual shell that you find. They will explain their habits, eating behaviors, and how they live in and out of the tides. Our crew doesn’t only know how to identify them, but they know where the best spots are. You will learn identification, and also learn about this unique ecosystem, and why these creatures are so important. Our shelling tour will provide you with the experience of shell combing and you will walk away with new knowledge about sea snails and bivalves.

Went shelling with Marco on Thursday, June 27. Had a great time. He went out of his way to provide beaches for us to search for shells. He is very knowledgeable about the shells, birds, and mammals that live in the waters around Marco Island. I would recommend this tour.

Took the 4 hour Kice Island tour in late June 2024. It's definitely among the hottest times to visit Marco, but the tour left around 7 am, and the boat had good shade. Our guide, Marco (yes, his name is Marco!), was amazing. In addition to taking us to some great shelling areas and to see dolphins (and an elusive manatee), he gave us a great deal of ecological and historical background on the area. The 4 hours absolutely flew by, leaving us longing for more. Highly recommend!

Great shelling trip with Captain Marco. We enjoyed his laid back style. He was so knowledgeable about the area and all the wildlife. We found lots of shells. He took us to three different shelling spots hoping for us to find some sand dollars. We did and all were happy.

Captain Marco took us to an island with a lot of sand dollars. It was my dream come true. Yes we also picked up shells but they are not as cool as sand dollars.

Another fabulous tour from Florida adventures! They are the absolute best and my go-to whenever I'm in the area. The guides are great! Marco and Matt were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and where to find certain shells, dolphins, and manatees. They also knew a ton about every individual species we saw. I found so many awesome things and learned so much. I think conches and whelks are my new favorite animals now?! We saw sea tunicates, sponges, shore birds, dolphins, manatees, snails, crabs, and thousands of unique shells

RJ and Christine treated us to an amazing morning shelling on the ten thousand islands. We were a party of 8 and they were easily about to accommodate for our elderly grandparents who were with us. They took the time to help them safely board and exit the boat so they could participate in the shelling and for that I am very grateful! The boat was fully covered which helped beat the mid morning heat. The tour included two beaches each with a great variety of shells and wildlife the explore. Christine asked everyone if they were looking for anything specific and was super helpful at trying to help me find an elusive junonia! Overall a great tour and I would highly recommend!!

We enjoyed the trip a lot. The crew was very informative and helpful. We learned a lot about the area, dolphins, manatees, and local wildlife. We bought 3 bags of shells back. Found ones we normally not see or find. We enjoyed the trip a lot.

Marco took me out to the islands and gave some history of Marco Island. He was so good! Polite and friendly, put me on shells and I came home with some treasures! Highly recommend him!
