Set off on the amazing Golden Circle experience with many interesting stops for people of different ages and cultures. Not only we will visit the most famous Geysir, Gulfoss and Thingvellir Nacional park, but we will make a few amazing stops along the way. Firstly Kerið - a unique volcanic crater filled with water. Then famous Fridheimar greenhouse. We do not forget to stop along the way to get acquainted with horses or to taste homemade ice cream in the Efstidalur II farm.
This will be a day to remember, packed with attractions, stories and good vibes! Our guides are really knowledgable and simply nice people. They will take care of you so you can get the best out of this tour.

In Hveragerði when you can get some freshly brewed coffee and Icelandic sweets at a local bakery. In the same building, you can visit Earthquake Museum which simulates the earthquake that rolled over (under:) the south of Iceland in 2008.

Kerið is a volcanic crater lake. You can have a walk around the ridges or even go down and touch the gleaming surface of the water.

The famous greenhouse where you can see how we grow vegetables in Iceland

When visiting the Gullfoss waterfall you will be stunned by the scale of this famous waterfall. Many cascades of fast pacing water dropping down to a canyon while producing amazing rainbows (with the right weather) is just a jaw-dropping experience! This is also a great place for lunch and for shopping. We can recommend the traditional Icelandic soup (there is always an option without meat): it will keep you full and warm for the rest of the day.

At Geysir, you will witness an eruption of hot water going almost 20 or so meters up into the air. The whole area is a geological wonder covered in steam coming from the geothermal activity - an experience you will never forget!

This is the oldest working parliament in the world. There you will walk on old battlegrounds where the Vikings fought among each other in countless battles. Þingvellir is also a place where 2 continents meet. Imagine yourself strolling through a canyon which walls are made from 2 tectonic plates: European and American. A truly remarkable experience!

Another great tour with Back to Iceland Travel! This was our 2nd tour with Anton and it was just as great.
Breathtaking scenery, paired with some interesting stops at a tomato farm and dairy farm for icecream (yes, you even need icecream in Iceland!).
We loved Anton's sense of humour and his knowledge of interesting facts.
The golden circle is a must-see in Iceland.
We definitely caught the Iceland Virus and we'll be back - and we would definitely use the services of Back to Iceland Travel again!

There was a waterfall on the later part of the tour that seemed to form its own sort of aqueduct between two rock walls before falling down a second waterfall. It was a good walk and a beautiful spot.

Kudos to the company!
The day before our tour we were contacted to let us know we would be the only ones on the tour so our driver would be picking us up in a CRV instead of the usual van. I am so happy that we were still able to take this tour; many other operators may have cancelled due to a low amount of participants.
Anton, our guide was a very professional gentleman. It was nice to feel like we had our own private tour. He made our tour experience a very positive one. We did not feel rushed at all and were able to see everything at our own pace. He told us a lot of information about the country and what it was like to live in Iceland.

We spent 2 days on the Golden Circle and then the South Coast tours with our guide Thomas and what a fantastic 2 days it was! The Mercedes sprinter minibus is perfect for seeing this wonderful country and we were in very small groups ...nearly a private tour!
Thomas went above and beyond, giving us a real insight into each and every place we visited. He made it a fantastic experience and he welcomed us back on day 2 like we were old friends! His hospitality was second to none! Thank you Back to Iceland!

We did 3 small group minibus tours with Back to Iceland--Golden Circle, South Coast, and West Coast. We were on a bus that sat 13, but never had more than 8 passengers on any day, so there was lots of extra space for all of our stuff. The bus was clean and comfortable, and equipped with USB plugs and wifi. Anton was a wonderful driver and guide. He was super thoughtful and brought ponchos for the rain or waterfall mist, as well as crampons for the icy walks. Each day he made sure to make stops for coffee, snacks, and bathroom breaks. He made tasty food recommendations as well. You can't go wrong with Back to Iceland.
