Traditionally home to Japan’s merchant class, you’ll find Osaka to be less traditional in its approach to food and life - the locals have a wild sense of humor and sure know how to have a good time, and how to make good food!
Within 24 hours after booking, you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

Tiana was a wonderful guide for our day trip from Kyoto to Osaka. It was our last day in Japan and we only had the afternoon/evening but she put together the perfect itinerary that gave us just the right mix of attractions, street food, and nightlife. She’s also a fantastic photographer!

My Osaka tour with Ajic was disappointing. We had pre-discussed where we wanted to tour and that we wanted learn the background history of the area we were visiting.
He was a nice tour guide, and had prepared and explained history of Osaka Castle, planned out to have the lunch experience in Dotonbori as we requested. But upon asking more questions about the history of Dotonbori and other areas in Osaka, he was not able to explain. Being a non-Japanese and having lived in Osaka for 6 years, his knowledge of the city seemed cursory and his command of the English language was also lacking.

Osaka castle was an amazing place to visit. Loved the entire experience. Our guide, Maria, was excellent.

The Osaka castle was amazing. Beyond the castle Osaka was nothing special, just a big city to shop and eat in.
