Variety was the key feature of this walking tour, from the historical context of landmarks to local food and drink favocontagious. English speaking guide was an about-to-graduate Architecture student who has really enjoyed living in Naples for 9 years and her enthusiasm was contageous.

Daniela was very good. A young Student and had good knowledge of this wonderful city. As we were 2 of us she gathered our preferences few days earlier and tailor made the tour.

I do not like complaining but, having taken similar walks in various cities around the world, this one was very disappointing.
Why?
The guide, while being a delightful young woman, arrived late
She spoke poor English so much of what she said we could not understand
And she mumbled
She lacked enthusiasm
We gained little insight into the charm of Naples
Instead of going into many of the highlights she showed us on her iPhone what was inside
Finally instead of being taken back to the starting point we were left 2k away and had to find our own way back.
I could never recommend this tour.
Sorry but sometimes you have to tell the truth!

Arnaldo has been a very gentle and empathic host. He knows the city because he lives the city! I liked the flexibility of bringing us exactely where we wanted

Enya gave us an excellent introduction to Naploi, it’s history, it’s cukture and it’s customs. She tiok us to her favorite pasticceria for (excellent) coffe and cakes and provided tips on restuarants and bars. Highly recommended!

Ilenia gave us the most informative and fun tour of the authentic Naples and showed us the real hidden gems and secrets from a local’s perspective. She was incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, kind, and made sure to explain the history of each sight and area in great detail. She also introduced us to amazing food we would have never tried if we didn’t have a guide! Ilenia truly gave us a unique and real experience here and she helped us appreciate Naples’ beautiful and rich culture. She gave us fantastic recommendations on what to do while here, and was incredibly helpful and attentive for our entire trip. We cannot recommend her enough! Quality of the guide and beauty of the City. Napoli was welcoming and safe. The treasures of downtown Napoli are worth certainly a longer visit

Our guide Angela really knew Napoli as a native and shared experiences of growing up here and connecting us to the life of the city. We saw many sites…some typical tourist destinations but also did some different experiences like riding the funiculare. Angela was friendly and happy to respond to our direction.

The view of all the churches. Also, I learned that church maintenance is basically funded by the government. Finally, I learned the importance of figurines and superstition to Neopolitans. (ie, Puchinello)
