Saqqara is the biggest archeological site in Egypt and Contains over than 10000 Tombs and 16 Pyramids , you will have the chance to visit the first decorated pyramid from inside for king Unas from the fifth dynasty , during the day you will visit as well the ancient capital Memphis, and Dahshur Pyramids. The tour’s start time is flexible, but usually the tour starts around 8 AM, takes a duration of Six to 8 hours, and ends around 4 PM. First, Pick Up from Requested Location by GEM Explore Egyptologist to start your Journey across the three ancient necropolises. The tour will start by visiting the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is the earliest colossal stone building in the world. This structure is a fundamental part of the Egyptian history as other pyramids was based on it with improvements.

The oldest stone structure in the entire world is the step pyramid of king Djoser dates back to 2670 BC ,The pyramid is a part from huge complex (Colonnaded Entrance -Sed Festival complex- Enclosure wall , North and south Pavilions ,Southern Tomb and thousand of tombs around ) With your advanced tour guide you will know a a lot more about king Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep and the new discoveries in Saqqara. (Please note that entering the pyramid or the southern tomb needs special ticket) guide will be happy to assist.

Then after Lunch, the tour continues by a visit to Dahshur Pyramids (Red and Bent Pyramids), which were a huge step and learning experience for Ancient Egyptians to switch from step-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Dahshur has multiple pyramids, but the most famous two are Red and Bent Pyramids and re are among the oldest, largest and best preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC. (Time spent in each place is flexible according to the customers)

Also called the north pyramid, considered the first classic been built in the ancient Egyptian history, we call it red because of it's reddish limestone which is been quarried from Tura Mountains in Cairo . possibility to enter the pyramid for free !!

A unique example of early pyramid development in Egypt, this was the second pyramid built by Sneferu. considered the only pyramid in Egypt still has the outer layer on it and still in good condition , you will have the chance to enter that pyramid as well ,it is open from inside now .( Please if you are claustrophobic or suffering from any health problem do not enter ) this one is very challenging and you must be fit .

Then, the tour continues by visiting the city that once was the ancient Capital of Egypt, Memphis city. This city holds both the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx and lots of ruins around. Memphis city was the center of power to the Old Kingdom (2686 BC) of Ancient Egypt, and the home to the pharaohs that raised the pyramids.

Special Museum for the very famous Statue for King Ramesses the great 1279 BC. A huge limestone statue in amazing condition .Ramesses the great ruled the Egyptian empire for about 67 Years .

The Sphinx of Memphis is a stone sphinx located near the remains of Memphis, Egypt. The statue made out from the Egyptian Alabaster , still in Avery good condition may be representing the very famous queen Hatshepsut 1479 BC. then you will start your journey back to your hotel.

The tour was an excellent overview of Egyptian history and culture. Ali was excellent and his knowledge and love of his country’s culture were evident. The driver for the day navigated the streets with ease and was very friendly. The sights were beyond my wildest imagination. To see pyramids such as The Step, Bent, and Red in person after only reading about them was a dream come true. Ali added to the experience by explaining the history behind the pyramids and the statues at Memphis. The lunch provided was more than I could finish with a great selection of Egyptian cuisine. Overall the tour was great and I would highly recommend it.

The trip was a nice experience. I did one week exercise in a day by ascending and descending the steep ramps of the pyramids. My guide was Mona. She is so caring, thanks to Gems tour for the well organised programme.

This was a fantastic tour to see all of the original pyramids south of Cairo. We found these pyramids to be a lot more relaxing to visit than the ones in Giza since there is a lot less traffic and you can take in the sights a bit more. I would also recommend going into all of the pyramids if you can since these are a lot easier to navigate through than the Great Pyramid and is still a really cool experience.

Our tour guide Ola was amazing as this was the third tour we had booked with her. She did a wonderful job of giving us tons of information about the different pyramids while also giving us a good amount of time to explore each one. Our driver Sam was excellent in getting us through all of the Cairo traffic as well.

Our day with Wael was fantastic from start to finish. Good communication the day before to confirm meeting etc, Wael was on time to pick us up and
Temal drove us safely to all the sites.

Wael’s knowledge of the history of every site and Egyptian ancient history generally was outstanding. We learnt so much. Wael allowed plenty of time to look around and take pictures. He also gave good advice on which pyramids to explore more and the difficulty levels.

The Egyptian lunch was delicious in a lovely restaurant and included in the price.

We thoroughly recommend the tour and particularly Wael.

This is a really good tour, getting away to the lesser known pyramids allows you to take in the history at your own pace. Our guide Wael was really easy to understand, he happily answered any questions and gave us photo time whenever we wanted it. Always offering to help us with some too.
Also seeing the country as we drove out to the Pyramids was really interesting to see! Food was great, everything was how you want it to be.. thanks guys

Such an amazing tour! We were lucky to have Mona as our tour guide as all three sites were rich with historical value that she explained expertly to us. She was great at keeping us engaged and interested throughout, while never rushing us when we wanted to explore the area or take pictures. She always made sure that we were having fun and were comfortable during the trip. I would definitely recommend for families or anyone that wants a great and flexible tour.

Wael was my tour guide for this solo trip. We started at Saqqara pyramids which was a huge complex. Then went to Dashur to go inside of one of the pyramids. Lastly we went to Memphis. All was very informative and I learned a lot of new things about Egyptian history and hieroglyphics. Lunch and water was also provided and they were very accommodating with no pressure to buy anything extra. I recommend doing this tour to see some pyramids outside of giza and learn more about the history!
