This was the most confusing mess I have ever booked. Would use a different option next time. Really disappointed in how this turned out.

Pay attention when booking - do NOT book tickets with Headout. Book directly through Accademia Gallery site. I accidentally booked through Headout - "skip line", "entry with host". All this means is that someone meets you in the street, gives you your tickets, and then leaves you to wait in line and tour on your own. Not a tour, though they imply it is. Also costs well over twice the price of booking directly. Although I am most annoyed with myself for not paying enough attention, this is absolutely a scam. Would never book anything through them again. Also, perhaps unsurprisingly, it is not possible to leave a spontaneous review on their site. Avoid this "service".

I was told tobe there 15" ahead if entry. For me, 10:45. The guide arrived at 11:10 and no tickets had been bought. Tickets arrived at 11:25. We entered the museum at 11:35. Guides presentation was 20"..

Everything run smoothly, but I can’t help to feel like we were part of some small scam. You just meet a random person on the street and he hands you tickets. Again, it was smooth, but still felt shady

Statue of David is awe inspiring in the skill required to make something so beautiful.
Lots of other beautiful paintings and sculptures too.
Well worth a visit

Absolutely well worth it to skip the massive line! For those who enjoy doing things at your own pace, this is perfect. We felt like we didn’t need a tour guide here, and are very glad we chose this option.

These were not skip the line tickets. We were put with a group and needed to wait for all group tickets and enter with the group. It was an awkward experience since we were stuck with a tour guide and group that was communicating through a headset however we couldn’t hear next direction or step. I was anticipating upon arrival we would be handed a voucher for entry and we would go ourselves. This is not what happened: I was provided an $18 refund off the $90 for the inconvenience. That being said the experience was misrepresented.

We got to our meeting point to find our 10:00 tour had been cancelled! Since there were no other times available for us that day, our guide was bringing in other guides from different tour companies! They said we could buy tickets from their company, but they would cost us 15 euros more! There were a lot of angry customers. We willnever use Viator again!

The so-called “tour Guide“ pushing us in front of a very small line telling us we’re in a group of 13 and then disappearing leaving us wondering if there was an actual guide. We were here June 16 and I don’t recommend skipping the lines on a Saturday is really worth the money because they did not appear to be bad lines, also we were rescheduled from noon to 3 PM probably because the quote tour guides“ We’re not organized. Nobody let us through the museum, so don’t assume it’s a typical tour with a professional. we felt like it’s a pyramid scheme

Gayla was one of the best guides we have had during our trip to Italy.
She was extremely knowledgeable and yet easy to understand, even making a few jokes as the group moved along. Her commentary of both the Accademia Gallery and the making of David were outstanding.
I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you can are lucky enough to have Gayla as your guide.
