We did two dives with Esther, one at the Playa del Carmen reef and another in Cozumel. She was super attentive at all times to the 4 of us who dived and we really enjoyed the dives. 100% recommended instructor, the best.

I traveled solo to Playa del Carmen and booked a private dive service with Esther. The experience was simply amazing. Esther was extremely professional, dedicating enough time to review and explain diving safety procedures and sea life, so I could only focus on enjoying the experience.

I do recommend dive with Esther, she will make sure you enjoy the unforgettable experience.

Esther and Ele were recommended to us by a close friend so that my partner could complete his open water portion of the PADI certification while I explored the area with shallow reef dives and Playa del Carmen's famous bull shark dive. Our experience with the two ladies have been amazing! With very little notice, Ele and Esther put together a solid itinerary for the two of us. They are responsive and prompt with their communication leading up to our dive trips and when we met up with them, they were both extremely personable but also professional at the same time. It was obvious how passionate Ele and Esther are about sharing the beauty of the underwater world (we saw turtles, sharks, lionfish, eels, puffer fish, octopus, sting rays and even squid!) with us while emphasizing diver safety and the need to both be eco-conscious. Ele even took the time to share with me her experience working with bull shark conservation so that when we were under water, I could try to identify the many bull sharks that return to breed every year. My partner and I had a blast and while we did not utilize Esther and Ele's photography skills, we definitely plan on doing so the next time we return to Playa del Carmen! 10/10 and would highly recommend!! I think after this private diving experience, I do not think I can go back to a group setting!

I hired Ele from DriftCurrent as a photographer while my guide and I were visiting the Cenotes "The Pit" and "Dos Ojos" because I wanted to show my colleagues some of the geologic systems present there. I unfortunately do not have a decent quality camera for deep dives or regions with small light, so what better way than to hire an actual diving photographer?!

She was super friendly and helpful, and her photos turned out fantastic. She already knew my guide, so there was effective communication between all three of us at the party. She had innovative ideas for photo locations, quick response, and was very professional.

I enjoyed my trip and am happy with the photos product that Ele provided. Thanks again for a fun, successful time, Ele!

Esther and Ele are truly fantastic dive instructors, divemasters, and photographers. My partner was diving for her very first time, and Esther made her feel so comfortable and at ease in the pool that by the time we were on our actual dives she looked like a natural. I did deep dives with Ele in the morning followed by shallow dives with my partner and Esther in the afternoon, and Ele gave very detailed instructions and consistently checked my air and no-stop times (on the deep dives) to ensure we stayed safely within limits but still had an awesome dives. The photo package was 100% worth it! Super high quality colors, angles, and composition, and very Instagramable! Esther and Ele handled all of the logistics with the rental and the boat (they, along with several other outfits, work with the Reef Marina at Reef Coco Beach for our Playa del Carmen reef dives), all we needed to do was show up. As an added bonus (and maybe it's because Ele is a trained marine biologist that she was able spot it) on one of our dives we saw a seahorse--my very first one! I highly highly recommend working with these ladies. They own their dive business and the passion they have for their business and their clients really shows.

The battery in my camera went bad and I couldn't find a replacement. I didn't think I'd get any photos of my dive, but surprise!!!! Ele came along on the dive. The shark diving photographs are amazing and worth it. Post-editing was fabulous.

Ele is an excellent host, guide and person. She has the best attitude and a genuine kind soul.

You will not find a better person to

my husband and I have not dived for a while. Esther was extremely helpful and walked us through the process & fears!.
Did two sets of dives with her and enjoyed them both. Highly recommend her.

Eleonora is a very professional photographer! She paied lots of attention to the details, modified my position underwater and also picked the best place for me to take the amazing photos! I extremely love these photos which is the best memory for my vacation of Mexico!!!
