We didnthid tour first thing in the morning. It was not over booked. Keoki was our driver he was amazing. Very knowledgeable, very polite. Everyone knew who he was. Throughout the tour he told us a little about his upbringing, it was interesting.
We had plenty of time 15-30 min at each stop to look, take pictures, shop. Plenty of time I promise. There is one side if the island where we couldn't go. There is no road apparently. We started in Waikiki and made it all the way to the north shore then cut down the middle back to Waikiki. We stopped a several out look places, drove through the more expensive homes. Stopped at the mac nut shop, coffee shop, a small retail store that was not an ABC store, the dole whip plantation. There is not enough time to ride the train, 30 min wait, or do the maze. The place you stop for lunch is close to a shrimp farm. The shrimp was good. The rice was mushy, yuck, but I would eat there again. It's $15 a meal. Just FYI. Would i do this tour again? Yeah. Just know this is an all day tour. 730am to 430pm. So dress comfortable, bring you a bottle of water and a little reusable shopping bag. Some places did charge 15 cent for a bag. That reminds me of Chicago.
