This is the second time we experienced the pleasure of having Emam guide us in Egypt and I cannot emphasize enough the incredible value and importance of using him as your guide. He knows all the right details, tricks and tips to make sure you get the best out of each day whether it's beating the crowds, getting the best shot, managing the environment and negotiating extras like camel rides, boat trips, souvenirs, transportation around town and the best places for lunch and dinner. On top of that, his knowledge about the sites and their history is impressive and he will happily answer questions all day. We had him in Cairo for several days then went on the road together to Alexandria for a night and he even joined us during our 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor allowing us to continue with our private small group VIP experience throughout Egypt. He was immensely helpful in organizing our 10 trip through Egypt many months in advance of our arrival, ensuring a seamless and absolutely perfect trip. He is worth every dollar spent and then some. Do not hesitate to contact and start working with him immediately and don't even think about anyone other than Emam!

Absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Emam was full of information. Without him, we would not have understood what we were seeing. This tour of Cairo really brought the past to life for us.
Emam met us at the airport to take us to our hotel. Our flight landed late in the night and it was great to be greeted at the airport. Also, if it weren't for Emam, I wouldn't have known to bring US dollars for the Visa that you purchase at the airport.
The following morning, Emam and our friendly driver picked us up and took us to the Giza pyramids, where we rode camels (my 86 year old father was pulled in a carriage by a horse), a papyrus paper making museum (you get to see how the paper was made), the area of the Step Pyramid and the Memphis Museum.
I had wanted to get to see the Red and Bent Pyramids of Dahsur, but as a family of five, with 2 children (10 & 12) and an elderly father (we pushed in a wheelchair - although he was limited in some places), we weren't able to comfortably squeeze that in (as much as I wanted to squeeze through those pyramids). We now have something to look forward to coming back to see.
The 2nd day we saw the main museum (Grand Museum wasn't open yet) Coptic Cairo and a market. We didn't spend much time at the market, it's not very Egyptian, but there was a lovely outdoor restaurant where I had a refreshing lemon mint drink.
We were ferried back to the airport the following morning, and off to Aswan.
Absolutely fantastic two days! Thank you again, Emam.
