You definitely want to see the Spice Farm, Stone Town and Tortoise Island, you just don't want to hire this company to do this tour!
Omar was our driver and he was the worse we've ever hired. He was driving extremely aggressively to the point where my neck is in pain right now as I type. He made no effort to talk to us, tell us about Zanzibar or ensure we enjoyed our trip. He answered his phone 8 times and took personal calls as if we weren't even there and played inappropriate videos even though we had an 8 year old in the car.
The guide not bad but he wasn't great either. It was simply low effort and I didn't walk away feeling like they made me fall further in love with this beautiful country.

Great experience and very pleasant to be able to see 3 things (Stone city, prison Island and spice farm) all at once in one day. The tour guide (her name is Pretty) is very helpful and nice to take care of me and show me lots of interesting places. I am very happy to have Pretty with me during this day, and I really appreciate her help! Oh, at the end of the day, she also helped me to take photo and video of me joining the local kids to jump water into the sea at evening. It was truly great eperience and would be very valuable memory :)

Tour was ok, guide was kind, but his knowledge about the places we saw was quite limited. Considering the price, the experiece was 3 stars, not more

The tour itinerary was good and the guide and driver were pleasant. However, the trip to Prison Island was on a small motor boat through the ocean with no life jackets. Viator should not promote tours that are unsafe like this.

I thought this tour was okay. The spice farm was interesting if you are interested in cooking, and the prison island only had a small section of historical background. I think if I was only in Zanzibar for a limited time, stick to the sea.
If you are interested in cooking and this tour, bring sunscreen and be okay with getting a bit wet on the boat ride to the prison island.

We had a great time learning about spices and tasting unique fresh fruits at the Spice Farm! The walking tour gave us a nice history of Stone Town. Our visit to Prison Island introduced us to many giant tortoises and we even had the chance to snorkel in the beautiful clear water. It was a very nice and complete day tour that is highly recommended if visiting Zanzibar!

Whilst the places we visited on our tour were great (our spice farm guide was brilliant), we haven't learned anything from the guide that we paid for. We felt like we had a driver to drive us around and that's it - certainly not worth USD200 for two people! Plus, there was no snorkeling as per description. Disappointing experience with this company.
