Exotic Excursion in the south!
A special excursion to the South of the island, starting our exploration with a visit to the emblematic lake of incomparable beauty in Zaros in a highly impressive landscape in central Crete!
Then driving among the biggest valley of Crete surrounded by the olive forests we will visit a small village for a walk or coffee.
We continue to the unique gorge of Tripiti where our descent will begin and we will continue with the passage between the huge narrow vertical rocks ending at the exotic beach of Tripiti.

Arrival at the beach and time to swim in its crystal clear waters.

I had 2 Tours with Mikel (Zeus Cave and Trypiti Beach) . The views are amazing. Trypiti Beach is one of the best Beaches on Crete without any other tourists. Try to get a Tour with Mikel, he is pure fun.

The driver Adamo Is a good driver and the view was beautiful,we take so mani photos and ate traditional food,It was a good tour

Wir haben eine Jeep Safari mit Manos gemacht, was sollen wir sagen, es war traumhaft wunderschöne Landschaft, tolle Wege
und Manos wusste über alles bescheid, es gab noch eine Kräuter Kunde dazu.

The trip to Tripiti Beach was really enjoyable because our guide, Ilias, was so informed and knowledgeable about the places we visited and shared his enthusiasm with everyone.
There were three café bar stops, in addition to a lunch stop, where a delicious meal was served, which included wine and raki ( and water! ).
The trip was made even more enjoyable because the eight people in our jeep all got on well and there was a really friendly atmosphere throughout the day.
Yes, it was a long day, and it didn’t help that the air conditioning wasn’t working, but this aside, I would recommend the trip because it was great to see things only accessible to off-roading in a jeep.

Our guide was great - friendly, informative.
Eight adults (with backpacks) was excruciatingly uncomfortable in one jeep. Stuffed in the back - half if us couldnt even look out the window.
Beach was great but its a LONG time to be crammed into a hot jeep (no air conditioning) for a 45 min swim.
Lunch was ok.

We booked a trip with Safari Express on 21st May, Our driver was Michael. He picked us up on time and was enthusiastic and informative throughout the day.
We travelled to Trypiti beach and through the Gorge. There were plenty of stops throughout the day. I liked that you were in your jeep with your driver alone, and not in a convoy of jeeps, it really made the tour a bit more personal. There were three of us and we were joined by a family of 4. Michael swapped us during the day so we all got a chance to sit in different seats (great idea) We were comfortable and there was plenty of room.
Michaels knowledge was brilliant, we learnt a lot throughout the day and the sites were amazing. Swimming on Trypiti beach was a brilliant experience (although I wish I had planned better for this)
Lunch was great, our hosts were fantastic and the food was amazing, even our fussy eating son tucked in.
We were not rushed at any point during the day. Took some amazing photos and loved seeing the mountain goats and learning about the olive trees.
A huge thank you to Michael. One of the best safari tours we have been.
