Starting at a beautiful rural estancia, you'll head to Macao Beach, where you can either walk gently or canter your horse slowly or at full speed, depending on your comfort and level of experience. Your guide will assess your experience with the horses and advise you accordingly. This is a fun way to experience the coast away from the resorts.

Really beautiful ride on the beach - horses and guides were great! Our family had a lot of fun and got great pictures. The only downside was being asked to purchase from their store after the ride, but that seemed to happen everywhere in the DR.

Allowed to pick preferred horse. Attendant very helpful. Spoke very little English but had someone that could. I especially love the beach experience with the horses. The beautiful waters and mountains was lovely.

What a amazing experience. I went solo and I loved every last min of it . It felt like a personal tour. Grayson was my tour guide and he was amazing.

This excursion was great. 5 stars all round. We were picked up in a truck where we sat in the back out in the open. Yes, there were seats and seat belts.
Out guides were amazing. Knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. They helped control the horses with a whistle or a yelp, if necessary, so this is great for beginners.
We were out for 2.5 hours and rode to Macao beach.
Getting back they showed us the pictures they took and they came out great.
You can haggle for the price of the pics.
Expect a little pain if you haven't done this before or haven't done it in a while. Sure knee or sore butt, nothing major.
