We spent 2 super fun hours with Curly. He taught us the basics of surfing and we were able to quickly get up on the board and enjoy the waves of Canggu!
It was very cool!
We 100% recommend Curly and his good humor! 🏄♂️☀️

Magnificent experience!
Curly is the perfect teacher to start surfing. Very funny and very patient, he chooses the right wave for you, gives you lots of advice, and helps you paddle when you're tired but want to continue catching waves.
Going surfing early in the morning with Curly was the best way to experience surfing.
Can't wait to come back.

By far the best thing you can do in Canggu. Curly is an amazing teacher and I had so much fun. He was patient, encouraging, informative and friendly. I enjoyed my lesson so much that I booked again the next day. Before this, I had never surfed and wasn’t sure if I would even like it. If I had more time, I would have happily booked a third lesson. Thank you so much Curly, I’m excited to visit again and learn more about surfing and listen to your songs.

I had my very first surf lesson ever with Curly! First thing, don't try to pick your own time - it's best to keep flexible and listen to what Curly suggests as the best time based on your surfing level. It'll make a huge difference! I didn't expect to be a pro after my first lesson but I was able to stand up on my first wave (and the subsequent waves after that). Curly was very encouraging and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

This is my first and best surf lesson in my life, luckily to have the best and funniest surf instructor Curly to teach me how to surf like a pro! It is very easy to surf and I have so much fun, the instructions is clear and easy to remember, I can even stand up on the surfboard in my very first time, Highly recommend the funniest private instructor Curly. I will see you again when I backed! 😊 Surfing is fun!! 🏄♀️

We take lesson with Curly in Canggu. It was an amazing experience. Curly give us good advice, help us, and support us in the water every time. He is also very fun and kind so you can be confident he will do his best to help you to improve your skills. My friend and I had so much fun in the water with Curly and his friends. Initially we went for 1 lesson but finally take two (epic session in the sunset for the last one one Canggu beach)
I have tried lesson before in France, but Curly permit me to improve my skills much faster. He’s always watching, laughing & give good energy. It was a pleasure.
For sure if we came back we will surf with him again !

Coaching is not an easy task but Curly is a pro at it. While he is always smiling, joking and having a good time he is also very knowledgeable and is the perfect coach for any skill level. As someone who wanted to be pushed but also stay within my capabilities, I felt Curly did an amazing job of satisfying all my needs while also teaching me lasting lessons. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their surfing and to have a fun time while doing it!

My lesson with Curly was soo good! He helped me so much finding my common mistakes and how I can fix them. I felt safe with him all the time in the ocean and he picked out only the best waves for me :) I never experienced such a chill but also professional atmosphere with a teacher, and he really helps you pushing yourself to achieve your goals. I would really recommend you to book your next private surf lesson with Curly, I promise you you will have so much fun learning the best sport ever!

Curly is an excellent, amazing, knowledgeable , experience surfing instructor!! He is patient, considerate, understanding, with great sense of humor who gives undivided attention to me at all times.
Curly explained detailed instructions for a beginner like me. He watched & paid close attention to my return demonstration after his explaination, ensuring that I understand & ask any questions.
The 7am surf was beautiful with just the right waves for beginners like me, love it!!
His colleague took lovely photos on my surf, thank you!
Water was provided as I left my water bottle at hotel, terimakasih.
Curly & his team are wonderful people, important of all they are accommodating & friendly.

I had a fun lovely time, the feeling to stay on the board is the most wonderful feeling ever experienced at my age in my 50s’.
I’m glad I swim regularly as part of my routine exercise in spite of my busy work schedule. That makes a difference to keep up with Curly during the two hours session.
There is no doubt that I will come back again to Curly for more surf as Curly is the best surfing instructor I’ve ever met.
