I absolutely loved this excursion, and I had the best day with my tour guide Ryan! I was a solo traveler, and I was appreciative that this experience accommodated me. That alone sold me, as most other Road to Hana excursions required that I book with minimum 2 people. It was just me with my tour guide, so the tour was catered to my needs, preferences, experience level, and pace. Additionally, this company and guide was attentive to detail with things one might need during the day (sunscreen, towels, road snacks, chargers, motion sickness medicine, etc).
Pickup was very easy. Since my hotel was near the usual meeting spot (Jersey Mike's), Ryan was accommodating and picked me up from my hotel. When he arrived, he was very enthusiastic and eager to make the day the best experience I could have. We had amazing conversation throughout the day, and I ended the day with so much more knowledge about the island's culture, history, and sacred energy. We hit up a couple beaches (including a cool black sand beach), and another beach where we went snorkeling for a bit and saw a bunch of fish. The road halfway to Hana was very lush! The drive was truly magical, as each corner offered unique breathtaking views. (Be sure to take your motion sickness medicine if needed though. The roads do get windy.) We also stopped to get some absolutely delicious banana bread (the best that I've personally had), and Ryan was intentional about telling me the best places to get food, souvenirs, and good vibes in general along the way.
Overall, I really enjoyed my day, and it also ended up being perfect timing wise, so I could rest and reset before hopping into the next activity for the day. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you Ryan for the best day ever!!!

There are truly no words to describe the day we had with Sabrina and Rala. Their knowledge of Maui, coupled with their kindness, attention to every detail and ensuring we had the most amazing adventure made our day perfect! Don't hesitate to book. It was a dream come true!

Absolutely incredible experience on the road to hana with Matt! He truly personalized my trip to anywhere and everywhere I wanted to go! This was the highlight to my trip to Maui! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Our driver was Nicole and we toured in a new, clean Sienna mini-van. It was just my wife and I. Due to the winding roads on the road to Hana, you would not want to travel in a larger vehicle (or drive yourself).
Nicole was pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable and an excellent driver/tour guide. We really enjoyed the stops she chose, which included a waterfall, a surfer beach (and saw about a dozen turtles basking on the beach), a local banana bread bakery, a bamboo forest and more.
The drive on the northern part of the island is for experienced local drivers only IMHO. We also really thought the 1/2 day trip was perfect as we were only in Maui for a few days and wanted to enjoy the beach at our hotel in the afternoon.
Additionally, Nicole took pictures on her own phone and sent us a photo album after the trip. We had a “magical” day!
