Daniels House is beautifully decorated for the holiday season making it the perfect setting for Vijay's stories. He is someone who has a clear passion and expertise in history. He brough the stories to life! His cadence and tone were easy to listen to. I learned a lot and was entertained the entire time. This is a must do for the holiday season.

This was a delightful evening learning about the early American history in Salem of Christmas. I lucked out joining a group of couples who had reservations. I had not secured my spot, but was welcomed to join last minute. This is one of those rare activities where the solo tourist feels at home. A beautiful "new" tradition I hope the owners of the Daniel's Inn and their historian continue.

It was a great experience! Really gives you the feeling of what Christmas was like long ago. Educational and inspiring and the house is quaint and beautiful (my daughters were really interested in Vijay's explanation of the carvings used to ward off evil spirits)

This was our second fireside chat and we look forward to returning in the future. This time, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The historian Vijay is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area and the home- you really feel immersed in a different era. As a nice touch - period teas are also available to drink that enhance the experience.
