I booked this wine tour as a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend, whilst we were visiting Naples and the surrounding areas, and we loved it. The organisation and communication leading up to the day was easy and friendly. Andrea picked us up smoothly and went along with the surprise so she had no idea where we were going.
The vineyard is stunning, we started with a guided private tour around the vineyard where Andrea showcased his knowledge on the landscape, and process of wine making. We found him friendly, funny, knowledgable and passionate about wine. The vineyard itself was beautiful and holds so much history which was fascinating to learn about.
We then headed into the vineyard restaurant, where we were served lunch in courses, all paired with a delicious wine from the vineyard. Each dish was beautiful and fresh, and the wine was paired perfectly. Andrea ran us through everything from tastebuds to the history of wine, to the meaning behind the name of that specific bottle, we learnt so much and enjoyed every sip/bite!
After our wonderful meal and plenty of amazing wine, Andrea dropped us back off in Naples and shared his suggestions of the best wine bars in Naples and even some of the locals favourite beach spots!
Overall, the experience was super special, Andrea made it feel really personal, shared with us his amazing knowledge on wines and the vineyard, the wine and food was unreal. Made her birthday really special, definitely recommend! Thanks Andrea :)

Excellent tour. My husband and I learned a LOT! We loved the tour and expansion through the vineyard. The wine and food pairings were excellent. We were able to try wines we've never had and enjoyed all of them. The hospitality of our guide and the and family was excellent.

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour. The food and wine were excellent, Andrea was very enthusiastic and the pick up from Naples made it very easy. One thing: if you’re going for a walk through the vineyard, wear appropriate footwear!

The best thing we did during our 2.5 week trip across Italy, and Andrea Cappelani was one of my favourite Italians!!
My partner and I were staying in Pompeii and had read about how the soil near Vesuvius was perfect for vineyards so wanted to do a tour and tasting, and I cannot explain how happy we are that we did this tour! So let me break it down!
The Guide; Andrea passion for wine and all things connected to wine was amazing and infectious! As it is a private tour you get his full attention and it was a true learning experience which was about the vineyard, the history of wine as well as the wine itself! Couldn't have asked for anyone better!
The Vineyard: It was truly beautiful, peaceful and set right underneath Vesuvius. We got the chance to walk all around the vineyard learning about the history, the process and everything that goes with it! Truly amazing! the Famil and staff were super kind and welcoming and you felt like a VIP from the moment you arrived.
The Wine: Every wine we tasted from "Sorrentino Vesuvio" was phenomenal, we got to taste a real variety, which led to me finding the first red I really enjoyed (no small feat!) A big bonus being there with Andrea was that we were truly spoiled with the wine we got to taste! We were blown away by all of them and ordered a case which was delivered home just after we returned which was a bonus!
The Food: Genuinely some of the best we had on our trip. Everything was grown or raised locally and tasted amazing! Both my partner and I tried things we would not typically order and were blown away.
If you only do one thing during your visit to Italy, this should be it! When we return we will 100% be returning!

My boyfriend took me here for a wine tasting tour and I must say……. This is the best tour we have ever taken. Andrea was our tour guide and he was absolutely phenomenal. He had so much information to offer us on the history and practically everything that had to do with Napoli. I’d recommend this tour with Andrea to everyone. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you so much for making our experience one that we will never forget!

Early morning set off was daunting with a 2 year old but we all loved it especially our little one.
We learnt a lot on the tour of the vineyard and it made such a difference when tasting the wines later to understand where and how they are grown.
Our sommelier was very attentive, he checked before we set off what would be best for our kids to eat and was so kind adapting to our needs.
Wine was spectacular and the food was devine, all with extensive explanation in a fun way where we felt involved. Not to mention the view. Can't wait to come back and try another tour.

Andrea was our tour guide and sommelier. We were traveling with our toddlers so we didn’t know what to expect and didn’t have high hopes since my husband and I had two littles. We were mind blown at the thought that was put into the safety and thought of our kids. We were picked up in a large van about 15 mins early than expected. Early is always better!!!! They had two car seats for us. Which I was soooo appreciative of. Andrea had coloring books and markers for our littles that kept them busy along with the games and tablets that we packed for them.
As far as the tour, food, and wine….. omg if you are having doubts about booking just do it. You will not be disappointed. Andrea is sooo incredibly knowledgeable of the land, the food, the wine… everything. The food was amazing and the wine was to die for. Me being a big foodie/chef was simply in heaven. I did not want to leave. We loved it so much we bought SO MUCH WINE AND OLIVE OIL to be shipped back to us in the US. I simply can’t say enough about the amazing vineyard, the family, the history, or Andrea. It is an experience we will never ever forget.
