Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show At Night

The Sound and Light Show is an experience that we were both looking forward to.
However we both felt that there was a lot of superfluous noise from the local bars and hotels that was quite distracting.
We also felt that the commentary was not always easy to follow.

The operator informed us that our tour was cancelled at 23.05 the night before our show was scheduled. They offered to reschedule but we couldn't make the alternatives. They then told us that we would need to cancel the booking, which as it would have been within the 24 hour notice period we would have forfeited our money. We ignored repeated 'what's app' messages telling us to cancel and contacted Viator on our return, who were excellent and refunded our money immediately. It's a shame that the tour operators seemed more focussed on ripping us off than helping!!

Was wonderful to experience the Pyramids of night. Guide Somaya & driver Mohamed help were personable & engaging from pick up to drop off - highly recommend

Egypt Tours were great. On time. Friendly and efficient. The show itself must be 50 years old. Poor audio and cheap graphics. In Cairo on business so the night show the only chance to see the pyramids. But a tourist with more time should give the show a miss. Basically the two pics the best of a pretty cheap show

Very bad experience. We were driving around our hotel for more than an hour and when we asked for the reason why they told us that the electricity is off at the Giza Pyramids and the show was cancelled.
After while and as soon as we told them to continue driving to Giza they told us they have a secure place with a beautiful terrace and free drinks to see the pyramids & the sphinx.
We finally went to Giza after to see the pyramids from a nice terrace very close to the main area. There were no problem with the electricity, of course. We’ve seen a lot of people to attend this sound & light show in a private event so most probably this is the reason why we lost the show or it is a complete fraud.

It was not worth the money. On site it said snacks and bottled water were included. I didn't care that we did not receive snacks, but planned for the water. This is very important in a country where you can not drink the tap water. Our guide did not have tickets when they picked us up. We stopped twice close to the Pyramids where he asked people on the street what tickets they had. Maybe this is standard practice, but expect more from a viator trip.

Show dated and not very spectacular, lights on the pyramids practically absent, the only positive note is seeing the pyramids and the sphinx at night, but after 10 minutes you would already want to leave: it always seems like something is about to start that never starts! For us who had to pay the driver from the hotel it was an absurd price, money that I wouldn't spend again

Seeing the Giza pyramids at night was awesome! Tour operator was late; we missed the first part of the presentation. The drive from hotel to Giza was terrifying and, in my opinion, unnecessarily dangerous.
