At 7:00 am Pickup from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by Licensed Tour guide then you will be transferred by Private A/C Vehicle to Abydos city Drive north from Luxor at the end of the Tour around 17:00 pm transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .

for a day to see two of the most complete temples in Egypt. Abydos Temple is dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld. Arrival Abydos Start your day Tour discovering the ancient sites. First, visit Abydos Temple. Temple of Hathor at Dendara may be the best preserved in Egypt with full color still visible on its walls Temple around 135 km from Luxor , the ancient Egyptian believed of god (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as temple of Seti I.

It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Government, and 135 km from Luxor . The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.

The temple of Seti I also known as the Great Temple of Abydos is one of the main historical sites in Abydos. The temple was built by pharaoh Seti I. At the rear of the temple there is the Osireion. The temple is also notable for the Abydos graffiti, ancient Phoenician and Aramaic graffiti found on the temple walls.

Then continue to Dendara to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. The temple is located in Dendara which is situated at the north of Luxor at the end of the Tour around 17:00 pm transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .

Salwa Fathy was our tour guide and I was impressed with her knowledge of history and deep knowledge of each of the temples. Her energy while she was fasting was beyond impressive given the rest of us were struggling with the heat!: I would highly encourage any body wondering who to go with to book with this group ans request Salwa. She accommodated all of our preference from shopping to sign seeing and made accommodations for each of us!

We really enjoyed this day trip to two spectacular Ancient Egyptian sites. Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly and knowledgable not only on the sites we were visiting but of Egyptian history in general. It is quite a drive from Luxor however definitely worth doing to see the temples of Seti I and Dendera. I would definitely recommend this tour and if you are looking for more in depth knowledge of Ancient Egypt ask for Ahmed.

Dendera temple is worth the trip! I wouldn’t say the same about Abydos though. But our guide Ahmed did a good job of explaining the significance of the hieroglyphics on both temples which made it very interesting.

Had a great time visiting Dendara and abydos, our guide Mr. Ibrahim, he was knowledgeable and very kind. He explained us details of each locations. Gave us a lot of time to look around and took alot of pictures. He really never pressured us to hurry up in any of the locations, which I love. Took alot of time exploring each site, she showed us the ancient calendar which was so coool! Afterwards, he showed us the famous hieroglyphic, the space ship and helicopter. Mr. Ibrahim really took good care of us during the tour, at the end of the tour he even gave us small token, papyrus art, he was so nice. Thank you so much Mr. Ibrahim. We had a wonderful time <3

Guide had limited English, & limited knowledge. Disappointed by this tour. Not a lot about how the temples came about, when I asked questions, the guide struggled to answer them.

This tour exceed our expectations. We took the day trip from Cairo to Luxor by flight.Our tour guide Angie was patient, attentive and so informative. Our driver Abd Rabo was always ready to pick us up and get us into the clean and spacious private air conditioned car just for us. We felt safe and well taken care of. It felt like traveling with family, that is how attentive and caring this tour and our guide and driver was. The company was extremely professional and punctual from start to finish. I would more than recommend this tour and company; we are booking the rest of our tours with them. 5+ starts from start to finish!

Ayad was amazing! I had a great experience ☺️ he made it custom for me and really helped me understand Egyptian history. Wen went to Dendara and Habu temple. He is a wealth of knowledge! I really appreciated the time and attention he took to help me understand. He went out of his way many times to help me and made my experience a 10/10!
