Down Under did an amazing job running and organizing the trip. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and lots of fun! The snorkeling was amazing! The colors of the fish and coral was beautiful and plentiful. We also did the helicopter ride and it was spectacular. The day far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a memorable day on the Great Barrier Reef! Tip: take the motion sickness pills if in doubt. You'll be glad you did!

The 10 minute helicopter ride was definitely well worth it. It was very cool seeing The Great Barrier Reef from a helicopter. Our helicopter pilot did a great job of pointing out the turtles and other items on the great barrier reef.
We made 2 stops on the great barrier reef to snorkel. The second of which is where the helicopter ride is, so we didn't have much time to snorkel at the second stop. The coral, fish, and other ocean life was fantastic to see. We did get chilly when we exited the 1st snorkeling site and moved to the 2nd site, so maybe take ac warm layer to use when traveling between (it was winter, July). The 2nd snorkeling site had more colorful fish, more fish, and l the water was also cooler temperatures.
If you want to do the glass bottom boat, I don't know if you'd have time to do a 10 minute helicopter ride and the glass bottom boat ride as that is also at the second stop. I don't think you'd have time to snorkel, in addition, at that stop.
Many people were seasick on the boat. If you are inclined to get seasick, I don't know that I would recommend going out to the Great Barrier Reef via boat. Maybe look at other options such as a helicopter ride.

First time we visited Cairns and did the Great Barrier Reef, and what an amazing experience the whole experience from the staff at the checking desk to the last member of the crew were very supportive and friendly. Lunch was included they served steak, see food, etc and Tran and coffee throughout the day. Special thanks for Kiki for being such an amazing instructor and being so supportive while I “panic” down the water. Highly recommended

Before going to the Great Barrier Reef, I was actually a little worried about the problem of coral bleaching, but after I went, I felt super lucky to go into the sea! The team at Down Under is very professional. We also met two service staff on the boat who came from Taiwan for a working holiday. They were very friendly and provided explanations in Chinese, which made people feel at ease. The equipment including diving jackets, snorkeling goggles, etc. were all very clean. The two diving sites I went to that day were Norman Reef and Saxon Reef. They were super beautiful and worth going! Unfortunately, the helicopter trip was canceled that day due to strong winds, but the refund was super fast and refunded directly to the credit card. The lunch on the boat was also great. All in all, everything was great! I am very happy that I participated in this trip. I recommend you to go snorkeling in the sea.

I didn't like that when I checked in they told me that the helicopter ride was not available because they didn't have the boat for that. and I wanted to live that experience but at the last minute they told me that they didn't have it available.
I don't understand how they play with people who want to live the dream and they already knew that they didn't have it available but they notified until the last day that the trip was.
But but the crew was excellent, very attentive and attentive to everything thanks to the boat crew.
