Great opportunity to taste a variety of Naramata wines and let someone else do the driving (and looking after your wine purchases) for you. Stuart was a super friendly guide with tons of knowledge about the area, which made the tour extra interesting.
The half day tour that I'd originally booked wasn't full enough to run, and the tour coordinator was extremely accommodating in getting me rebooked on a tour that worked with my schedule, which I really appreciated.

We did the 1/2 day Sip Disturber tour on Naramata Bench (but that tour isn't available to review) on a beautiful June Saturday. We were a group of 3 and were joined by a couple. The newer mercedes bus had room for 7 more but our group size was fabulous for the tastings and touring. We had 4 stops...
3 Sisters was our first stop. The wines were good but the hostess was new on the job so knew the basics but that was all. She was warm and friendly and in a few weeks will be a pro. There's a fun games area if you have time to play. We didn't - we took a couple of pics when we were done
then it was off to the next stop Ruby Blues. Here we tried 5 tastings - bubbles, 2 whites and 2 reds. The wine guide here was more experienced and quite informative. Fun van to take pics with.
We were ahead of schedule at this point so we drove through the village of Naramata and had a quick stop by the lake.
Our 3rd stop was Wesbert Winery and I loved their set up. They gave us a listing of almost all of their wines and indicated which of those we would be tasting. The delivery of the wine tastings was in a flight all set up and labeled to match the listings. This made it very easy to understand the description of the wines, ideal serving temperatures, etc. I purchased a suggested wine not tasted only to find it was priced $20 more than the most expensive ones listed so I am hoping it will be worth the cost in a few years when its ready to drink.
Our final stop was the Moraine Winery and this was the most personalized tasting. Here the hostess gave us some flexiblity to try the types of wines we wanted. I chose a dry bubbly, and then opted for reds... the first was a Pinot Noir, and then 2 red blends none of which I was a huge fan of. I did buy a bottle of Cab Franc but we couldn't try it and the only other one that appealed was a Malbec which wasn't available to purchase unless you joined their wine club so its doubtful I'd go back but one in our group found her favourite Pinot Gris from the day here.
At every tasting each of us purchased at least one bottle but it wasn't required. Our driver/guide/host Stuart labeled and packed them carefully in boxes so we never lost track of them with the others on the tour.
Our tour was exactly four hours from pick up to drop off.
Overall I did not feel rushed anywhere. we had multiple opportunities to take pics and tasted some good wines. I'm not sure if personally I'd choose all of these wineries again but I think they were a good intro to wine touring.
Shout out to Stuart who was fabulous. His knowledge of the area, its history and the winery business was excellent and he was a great guy.
