This may have been the best tour we have taken in all our travels. Oguzhan is an incredible guide whose passion clearly flows through to the benefit of his guests. The organization of the trip causes the time to pass with ease. Each stop was enjoyable and informative.
Oguzhan understands when various sites are likely to be crowded on a given day (cruise ships, etc.) and can tailor the order. We were never in an overcrowded situation, even though we were visiting many of the most popular places.
The initial historical overview he provided laid the groundwork for what we would see later. He frequently connected events from one site to those of another. We not only learned the history but also various fascinating tidbits (the use of ostrich eggs was eye opening).
In addition to the mosques, we had stops at the Grand Bazaar and a Turkish rug store. There are opportunities to purchase items at these stops. You could feel a little pressure from the store salesmen, but they are friendly and good natured if you are not interested in buying. The Turkish rug store was very informative, and we saw some truly beautiful rugs.
I appreciated how Oguzhan arranged for our lunch to be a sampling of several different types of food. I had seen some of these items but was unsure about ordering for fear I wouldn't like it. This was a great way for me to try, and all was quite good.
Because we had a small group, it was easy to ask questions. Oguzhan cheerfully took all questions and had an answer for everything.
I highly recommend this tour, and it should definitely be your top consideration.

Oguzhan was a fantastic guide. His knowledge and delivery of the histories of the sites was amazing. The time spent at each site was perfect and he thoughtfully answered all of our questions. He had great energy and ensured the whole group got what they wanted from the experience.

The exclusion was wonderful, it sums up the most important places in Istanbul. Our guide is very trained and explained every detail of the places we visited. I think this excursion is worth doing, I recommend it.

The tons of knowledge of Oguzhan C.that was delivered to us as a group was phenomenal.
Every stop he incorporated and shared a very insightful data and fun facts.
I love it.

Oguzhan is fantastic making sure to answer everyones questions and including everyone. He is very knowledgeable in the History. I highly recommend this tour. It’s a small group 10 people maximum which is a perfect size.

It has been an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide Ozzy was so knowledgeable and funny and caring! During few hours you may learn a lot about Istanbul’s history and treasures. Tour has a skip-line policy so we have saved a lot of time while at Topkapi palace and Hagia Sophia. Worth taking it, even if you only have one day in Istanbul.

Excellent tour. The guide made the difference. "Ozzie" was super.
He has an encyclopedia knowledge of history and informed us at each stop with clear and even exhaustive explanations. So much history on this tour. Loved it.

Ozzie was an outstanding guide. Our day was packed with places to see - make sure you wear comfortable shoes! He kept the tour interesting and provided a lot of information in an interesting way. Would definitely recommend his tour.
