Guide Erick Macaya contacted us the day before so we knew all was fine. He was early and there when we got out of the port. His van was clean. He brought us to the winery and the places safely and with proper guidance. Highlight, for buffet lunch, we went to a place for locals. He was polite and funny. This is what you pay for. Perfection and excellence.

From the start of the tour when Luis and Beckie picked us up with a large sign in a clearly designated area, after sending us a picture of them waiting with our sign, this was a five star tour. Luis’s knowledge of Chile, Valparaiso, Casablanca Valley and Santiago was top notch. Every place to view, our winery tour, our visit to the best history stops and a charming lunch stop were awesome. Luis spent an extra hour with us because he had so much to show. But perhaps the highlight of the tour was a trip to Ocean Pacific, a truly unique restaurant in Santiago. We will make a return trip to Santiago to make certain that we have dinner there and Luis will be our guide.

Our driver tour leader waited for two hours for us due to delay of disembarking. He was very nice but we arranged for a private English speaking tour guide. He hardly spoken English at all. We went to a great winery that did an entire tour in English. We went to a restaurant in the city and then he drove us around city to see key sites. He would then hand us sheets printed with the information for the locations.
