Be part of an authentic Arctic adventure the when driving your team of dogs. Dog sled has been used for travel and hunting for centuries throughout the Arctic region. Dog sledding consist of a musher, a sled and one or more dogs. It's an adventurous activity for your holiday in northern Norway. Be part of an authentic Arctic adventure when driving your own team of dogs on the outskirt of Tromsø. You will get some great advice from our guide to help you have a wonderful experience as a musher (driver) and become one with nature.
All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles. We travel over tundra and through forests and you will get in close contact with both nature and dogs. During daytime, you will get a beautiful view towards the Lyngen Alps, and during dark season you can experience the northern light dancing above us. Two people share each sled and we will stop along the way to change mushers and to take photos.

It was a great trip, the huskies were super friendly, however there wasn't any lunch served as per the itenary which was a disappointment.

This was a highlight of the trip. Even though Viator says otherwise, this experience does not accommodate children under 4. The dog sledding company was able to take my husband and I on separate shorter routes and they went above and beyond to fix a situation that Viator misinformed its customers about. We still had a fantastic time

Awesome! Not cheap but a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone. Pleasant 50 minute coach trip to the camp, then you get changed into thermal gear. Suits and boots! Then a short demo, and then you’re off for an hour’s sledding through the fields and woodland. Two people to each sled and you get to switch drivers halfway through if you want and take photos. Beautiful scenery but mixed weather. Blue skies and sunshine on first half, then a snowstorm on second half, but that just added to the great experience. Afterwards you get to pet the dogs and puppies and warm up around the fire over drinks and cake in a teepee. Epic!

Amazing experience, really fun to drive the sled in fantastic scenery. Great guides, and warm with the thermal suits despite -10 degrees. Would recommend wearing 2 pairs of socks though.
