A little disappointed with the tour and it is definitely not good value for money. The guide didn’t have any personality and may as well have read off a card. I would recommend doing your own tour with audio head sets at your own pace.

We learned a lot of history about the Doge's and early life in Venice. Having the opportunity to see the inside of Doge's Palace and walk the bridge of Sighs was an experience to remember. Our tour guide had perfect English and knew her stuff. We loved going into St. Mark's and seeing the lighting of the Basilica at 11:30 to see the shimmer of the gold mosaics. More time in the Basilica to experience the Tomb of St. Mark would have made this tour a 5 star. That being said, we enjoyed the experience.

The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Venice, the palace, and St. Marks. The tour included a headset so you could easily hear the guide, a tour of the Doge's Palace, fast pass to St. Mark's, and even access to the much-coveted St Mark's terrace. There was also another museum you could do on your own. She was obviously very proud of her Venetian heritage and took great pleasure in sharing the stories with us. It was a joy to tour.

Amazing place to see! However the French tour guide who was Italian was being ignorant of my presence. While she talked to everyone, I felt left out and excluded. I give 5 stars for Viator and not for her.

Apart from the history, the buildings, the Artwork, the Basilica, our guide was just amazing! An English speaking Venetian who lectures philosophy and ancient history to college students in Venice, his knowledge and ability to share all this wonderful history with passion and humour was just divine!!!

Being able to go outside at the top of St. Mark's to see the horses. Walking through the Bridge of Sighs.
Just wish there was better organization in the Doge's Palace for a handicapped person using the elevator.

The Basilica was beautiful! Unfortunately, we had no idea what we were seeing. Our tour guide was fluent in English, but spoke so quickly and with such a strong accent that we only caught a small portion of what he was saying. I think he was very knowledgeable about the building, but it was never clear exactly which features he was referring to. The skip the line was great, but the Basilica was so crowded that our group kept getting separated. We ended up leaving the tour before the Doge's Palace because we felt like we were wasting our time.

Our guide Alberto was great and San Marco is a must see. Mosaics were amazing! Tour was a bit long for my kids but I think they were still adjusting to the time zone here.
