This rail tour and coach trip was amazing and a great way to see Ireland and learn about the history. Our tour guide Brian Duggan was so witty and so knowledgeable about the areas we visited. He even through in a birthday treat at one of the restaurants for my wife's special birthday. We would highly recommend the railtour and their tour guides. The 3 day tour we took was a fantastic way of seeing much of the south and west of Ireland without having to worry about the logistics of connections, reservations etc. The combination of rail and coach was relaxing and fun. Our hotel in Killarney was great as were all the stops for food and refreshment.
Our tour guide Brian did a wonderful job of giving us the history and culture of not just the places we were seeing but the country as a whole. He did it all with wit and humour, all the while making sure the logistics of our trip went smoothly. Hats off to him and tour as whole.

Country was beautiful, pub food was very good, Celtic Steps show was amazing.
Tour guide was very impatient and sharp with passengers. His storytelling was very informative. The first day we got out of the bus and walked for places, u could not hear his comments. With 42 people u need listening devices.
All in all it was enjoyable.

I had a great time traveling with our group and guide Brian in southern and western Ireland.
We went to so many places, beautiful Cork and Cobh, Blarney Castle, and the Cliffs of Moher, just to name a few.
I learned a lot about Irish history and even printed out my ancestry crest from county Tyrone. We stayed for 2 nights in a lovely hotel and had time on our own in the evenings to explore, have dinner, and listen to some traditional music.
Our guide was funny, warm, and very knowledgable. There were lots of surprises along the way and I enjoyed every bit of it. I am grateful for my experience with Rail Tours Ireland and for Brian Dutton our guide.

John (our guide) was amazing, you can tell that he is really passionate about his job.
Everything was very well organised, we barely ever had to stand in queues, drivers were punctual and all accommodation and transportation was neat, clean and comfortable.

This tour exceeded our expectations! David is an engaging, informative guide who took care of our small group the entire trip. The train is mainly at the beginning and end of the tour, with most of the tour on comfortable buses and minivans that brought us closer to the memorable sights. Highly recommend this way of seeing beautiful Ireland and I would do definitely do on an Ireland rail tour again!

I had such a wonderful time all three days! All of my guides were super friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. The cliffs of moher was particularly wonderful, our guide John was wonderful, and our driver Jerry was a rockstar, they made two extra stops for us to see extra sights during the day. If you don't want to have to worry about anything but also pack in a lot of sites, I would highly recommend.

Incredible experience! Everything was perfectly coordinated and all accommodations were amazing. The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and so sweet (John & Andrew are the best!!!!!!!). We couldn’t have done this trip well without them. Such an amazing time with great people!

The 3-day, 2-night tour was well worth it. We saw many of the sights we wanted to see in Ireland, including Blarney Castle (the grounds are spectacular), the Cliffs of Moher, Cobh, and the Ring of Kerry. Bunratty Castle and village were spectacular, as was a sheepdog demonstration in a downpour and a park waterfall. Our guide Terrence was quite knowledgeable, and he handled all the tour logistics. Killarney was a quaint town or small city to stay in, and the pub food at the lunch stops and the hotel breakfast food was quite good. We were very happy with our tour. Rain and fog in Kerry spoiled some expected views there but the tour guide does not control the weather!
