Tour of the Cathedral of Barcelona with a Licensed Private Guide. The 14th-century Gothic cathedral is a landmark of the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona’s oldest neighborhood. The church is surrounded by the ruins of Roman walls and towers, a reminder of the city’s origin as a Roman colony called Barcino. As you admire the Cathedral’s stunning facade and surroundings, the guide will tell you the story of Saint Eulalia, the patron saint of the city of Barcelona who was tortured by the Romans. As you will learn, many elements in the cathedral are dedicated to this Christian martyr. During the tour you will explore the grand nave with its 40 chapels, embellished with Gothic altarpieces by renowned Catalan artists. You will also visit the cathedral museum and the beautiful cloister where 13 ducks are kept. Skip-the-line tickets to Barcelona Cathedral include access to the terrace, so you can take a closer look at the gargoyles on the roof and marvel at the amazing view of the surrounding area.

The Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. We provide skip-the-line tickets to attractions to save you time. Santa Maria del Mar was built at a time of maritime and commercial primacy and stands out due to the purity and unity of its Catan Gothic style. Admission includes the basilica with its museum, crypt, towers and roof terrace.

• Skip-the-line tickets to the Cathedral of Barcelona are reserved for a specific time slot so it's important to arrive at the meeting point on time. You can skip the queue at the ticket office. Admission includes the cathedral with the choir entrance, chapter hall and rooftop terrace. Due to limited space, the guide will not go up to the rooftop terrace with you.
• Skip-the-line tickets to the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar provide faster entry without queuing at the ticket office, but you may have to wait for ticket validation. Admission includes the basilica with the crypt, stand and rooftop terrace.
• Guided tours inside the churches during masses and scheduled events are limited. If entry is not possible, the guide will provide all information outside.
• For the convenience of all guests, it is best to have 1 licensed guide per maximum of 25 guests, so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the guide well. The price will be higher if you need more than 1 guide.
• The 3- and 5-hour options include an estimated 1-hour round-trip transfer time between the meeting point and the accommodation address provided when booking. Please note that the transfer time quoted is for information purposes only and can take longer or shorter depending on the distance and traffic.
• We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van for groups of 5 people and more. If you're traveling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle.
