Juan, our guide, was on time, he was nice and knowledgeable. Very flexible with our itinerary and what we wanted to do. It is impossible to get to know the beaches without a local person. However, we were given the option to start the tour later (9 am) which we appreciated, however, with that, Balandra beach was already full and closed. Juan gave us the option to come later and wait on the queue for 30 min, but does who want to stay in the car, in the summer, in the heat, for 30 min? We preferred to go to another beach (Saltito), which was a good choice once it was not windy there. If you are used to do this kind of tour in other places, you’re expect a 4x4 SUV, setting your expectations, it was not the case.

We had the most pleasant and enjoyable time. Our guide Rafael was beyond amazing and we felt well taken care of. He did not speak much English yet still managed to exceed any expectations we had. We are very thankful to him. We got to spend as much time as we wanted to at the beaches and had full freedom to do what we pleased. Drinks, great ceviche, umbrella (very needed), chairs, snorkels, and a table were provided. A highlight of our trip!

The driver was 45 minutes late meeting us so Balandra beach was full by the time we got there (they allow 500 people in the morning and another 500 in the afternoon). So... we hung out for an hour on another beach until 11:20 when we got in line for the afternoon at Balandra. Fortunately our driver knew when to get in line and after an hour of waiting we did get in. Beautiful beach, but when we booked a private tour, we expected the tour to start on time and deliver as promised.

Incredible experience for the entire family! Private boat with 2 guides for the 4 of us. Both guides (Edgar did most of the talking) were friendly and knowledgeable and personable. Gorgeous scenery-most turquoise blue clear water, swam with sea lions and able to see many fish with snorkel and mask. Balandra beach for mushroom rock photo and then onto a quiet and gorgeous beach for lunch and relaxing. Lunch was delicious and felt very special-vegan ceviche crafted by the boat captain’s wife. On the way back, 2 dolphin pods came to the boat and interacted with the wake and cooperated with close up photos. Unforgettable customized experience is every way-truly the perfect day and our favorite family experience during our La Paz vacation!

This was the very best way to see the top 6 beaches in La Paz. You are able to walk the beaches and check them out. Then you can take the beach bus back to your favorite. Juan was great. He gave us great information and history of area. The ceviche lunch on the beach was awesome.

Our Driver, Juan, was a safe driver with local knowledge about each beach we visited. Don’t try to do this trip on your own if you are a first time visitor to La Paz. The beaches are removed from town and a driver with local knowledge on locations is imperative. Juan spoke excellent English, was friendly, gave us ample time at each beach and provided a delicious lunch. After our tour he helped us run errands to a grocery store and bank without hesitation or complaint. I highly recommend this tour.

Stunning array of beautiful beaches starting with Balandra, one of the most amazing beaches I have seen. Our tour guide Juan was first class, provided lots of information and was very easy to converse with, his English is impeccable. We never felt rushed and appreciated his professional driving skills.

We had a wonderful time on our tour of 6 beaches in the La Paz area. Starting at the farthest beach, Playa Balandra, and working our way back to La Paz, we spent just enough time at each beach to discover the unique delights of each one. Juan was an excellent tour guide and has a vast knowledge of the area. We loved his laid-back personality and the ceviche he served for lunch on the beach. This tour would be highly recommended to those visiting La Paz for the first time.

Juan was an excellent tour guide! We loved his laid-back personality and knowledge of the area. He gave us an estimated time line for our visit to each one of the six beaches on the tour, but he was very flexible throughout the day. We started at the furthest beach, Playa Balandra, and worked our way back to La Paz. The ceviche he provided for lunch was excellent. The other snacks were nice to have, too. This tour is highly recommended to those visiting La Paz for the first time.

We were glad to have booked this tour. Rafael, our guide/driver was professional, informative, and accommodating. He picked us up on time at our hotel in La Paz. He shared information about the area and answered all our questions. We visited several beaches. He gave us enough time to take pictures and enjoy the views at each location. We did not feel rushed. We spent a lot more time at Balandra Beach, where we had a delicious ceviche lunch. Rafael came equipped with chairs, a table, and an umbrella. He set everything up on the beach. He watched our things while we explored Balandra Beach. There was a bit of a wait to enter Balandra Beach. This beach limits the number of cars/visitors who can access the beach at desingated times. Rafael timed it so that we were there early enough to be close to the front of the line. He drove safely. His vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. This is a great way to see the area beaches when staying in the center of La Paz.
