The service provided was excellent! We requested for the tour at last minute, literally at 7pm but yapa did their best and slotted us for the next day trip! Once the trip is confirmed, the coordinator texted us and kept us informed about our trip.
It's unfortunate that we had to wait for 3 hour for our train to Machu Picchu but this gave us more time at Ollantaytambo town which was a small quaint town.
Our guide for the first day was Gunter. He was informative and patient. He kindly made a stop for us to buy breakfast and coffee. He also helped us took many amazing photos! He was cheerful and spoke good English. He showed us pictures in books when he was explaining the history behind a place.
As for our second day to Machu Picchu, our guide was Jair. He had over 20 years of tour guide experience and brought us to the best photo points at each location within Machu Picchu. Overall, we were very pleased with our tour! The coordinator texted us frequently just to make sure things were going well. So, book this tour with confidence!

We had an excellent 2 days with Yapa Explorers, our guides German & Cristian were fantastic and had a wealth of knowledge to share with us. The tour was well planned and information was provided via WhatsApp, giving us the itinerary and keeping us updated with the pick up from our hotel.

Amazing views, great guide.
Quite a surreal place to visit. I Highly recommend a trip and tour here. Be sure to book a couple of months out if possible. We were lucky and got a booking a week out. I reccomend extra time In the beautiful town.

The walk on the inca trail has been difficult for me but the views are so amazing that it is a very short Price to pay for. Thank you si much Gunther for this expérience.

Yapa explorers took care of every detail, even carrying our luggage to our hotel in Aguas Calientes (which we wouldn’t have been able to find without his help!) Jair was an expert guide at Machu Picchu and helped us find the best places to take pictures, teaching us along the way, taking his time. In the sacred valley our guide Gunther was excellent, teaching and showing us everything there is to see. He was extremely patient with my two kids. Finally, our meal that was provided in Ollantaytambo was the best meal I had in Peru! Definitely not generic tourist food!

We have the two day sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour. We chose to take a private tour instead of a group tour and it was only minimally more expensive and we had our guides all to ourselves. It is a great way to get the most out of the tour. For our visit to the sacred Valley, our guide was named Germán And he was super knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the region. His explanations added a lot to the very beautiful experience.
On the second day, we met our guide Jair, At the gate at Machu Picchu and he took us around the site, filling us in with all sorts of fascinating information. He was also really helpful in knowing where the best photo sites were and we have some amazing photos that we will cherish forever.
The company was incredibly well organized. Before each day, we had a briefing at our hotel that explained everything that we needed to know and where we needed to be at what time. This made the experience much more relaxing, and insured that everything went super smoothly. They organized all the transfers And train tickets and even allowed flexibility for us to arrange our own accommodations at Machu Picchu since we have friends who own a five star hotel there and put us up for the night.
Overall, this is one of the best tours that we have taken, and my wife and I have traveled and toured all over the world. We will definitely use Yapa Explorers again.

Sacred valley and Machu Picchu are simply wonderful. YAPA explorers organised the whole trip very well. Edgar was my guide in sacred valley and Jair was my guide in Machu Picchu. Both have great knowledge and share it in very interesting way.
I have great memories from this trip.

Our experience of this tour was excellent. We felt that YAPA Explorers tour company was with us all the way. They were constantly in touch, making sure that we made all the transfers to buses, trains, hotels, vans, etc. I would highly recommend this tour to other people
Our guide to sacred Valley was well informed and tolerant of the individuals who had some mobility issues.
Our guide in Machu Picchu kept the pace slow, finding shade. It was pleasant having a small group of six people, and one guide. He also had a lot of information to share which we really enjoyed and yet again, Yapa Explorers followed us all the way home, checking to make sure we got on the train and the van back to Cusco.

Gunter and Jair, the tour guide for the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Both of them are humorous, friendly, capable and speak excellent English. Their explanation are comprehensive and make the ancient history very interesting and lively. Thank you for their great work and I will recommend these tours to my friends who want to visit Peru in the future!
P.s. We were deadline fighter and booked the tour three weeks before the trip . They managed to let us seize in and get the ticket to Machu Picchu and the whole experience are very satisfying.
