This is a great way to enjoy and learn about Priorat wines if you are staying in Barcelona and do not have time to spend a couple days in the region.
Ivan is very knowledgeable about the wines and also takes time to tell you about the history and key events of the region including pointing out things along the way. I appreciated the quick put-stop for a photo of the ancient aqueduct.
The quick tour of the monastery ruins was not something I had been looking forward to on a wine tour, but I am so glad it was included. It is an important part of priorat and wine history in the region and ended up being a highlight and differentiating feature versus most wine tours.

This was such a FAB tour, and Ivan is a wonderful host! He made many moments that surprised and delighted us.
Priorat is such a hidden gem, I can’t recommend it enough. The wine is best in class, food is fantastic and the views rival any wine country in the world.

From pick up to drop off, everything was taken care of. Ivan was very willing to share his knowledge of the region and did so with so much enthusiasm it was hard not to be excited about the day. The winery tours were perfect and each complimented one another. Scala Dei is so rich in tradition and visiting the monastery was an added treat. Lunch at Clos Figueras sitting outside in the warmth was wonderful, and the wine tasting with Celler Devinssi on a hilltop, overlooking the very area where the grapes were harvested was a memory of a lifetime. Highly recommend Ivan and wino tours. You won’t be disappointed!

My girlfriend booked us at tour with Ivan to the Priorat region of Cataluña and I have to say it was the best wine tour I've ever done by far. The logistics were all coordinated by Ivan himself which allowed us to focus on the tour itself and each of the three stops represented a different aspect of the wineries in the region which really felt informative and also was constantly interesting. While we were driving out of Barcelona I even gave us a wonderful rundown of the long history of the region and its history of incredible winemaking. The man is also a riot which helps, as the trip was light an fun and felt like a trip with friends more than anything stodgy. The meal we had at the second winery was also fantastic and was a wonderful way to see the wines paired and put in the context which they can be enjoyed with wonderful food. I truly only have positive things to say about this tour and among the most positive of those things would be that the wine itself was absolutely incredible and I only wish I had bought more to take home from the wineries. the price was also phenomenal and could have easily cost double and still have been a great deal. If you want to get a glimpse of Priorat (and you really should) this is your best option in my book.

Wonderful time! Ivan was a very knowledgeable& a very enjoyable tour host in Priorat wine country. His vehicle was very neat & clean. I need to also mention the fantastic dining experience he chose for our lunch. Outstanding job done by Ivan!

Ivan was a fantastic guide! We had a fun and educational day at 3 very different wineries, to see everything from larger to micro environment. Priorat is the only other DOQ in Spain other than Rioja, and the wine supports that. The tasting and lunch at Clos Figueras was exceptional. Stopping at the monastery and Roman ruins was an unexpected bonus. Definitely recommend this trip!

My friend and I found everything about this tour to be perfect. Ivan is knowledgeable and personable so the time in the van flew by on our way to the Priorat. We learned about the history and terroir of both the Penedes and the Priorat regions. We first visited Perinet winery and had a three-hour wine experience, complete with a short walk around the vineyard, a tour of the production facility, and then barrel tasting in the gorgeous Gaudi inspired cellar. Then on to the more formal tasting, complete with charcuterie, cheeses, olives, and of course, delicious wine. Our hostess at Perinet, Anastasia, was lovely and we learned quite a bit about the region. After a delightful two-hour lunch at Brots, on to the second winery, Mas Doix. At Mas Doix, our host, Luis, took us on a short tour of the winery, which has breathtaking views. Then more delicious wine, including some unusual old vine Carignon and Grenache. This tour was a highlight of our trip--cheers to Ivan!
